Backwoods Café serves a large variety of breakfast foods. When we go out for breakfast, this is where we go. Omelets are delicious, eggs benedict is good also. Service is always fast and the wait staff is friendly as well.

It's not much to look at from the outside, tucked into a strip mall in a shaky-seeming part of town. But the waitstaff was incredibly friendly, and the food was home-cooked and very good. Exceeded expectations, and would stop again if passing through.

Found this place on Yelp! while visiting Yakima last week. Their breakfast menu is vast and varied...authentic Mexican breakfasts...the refried beans were out of this world---had something a little crunchy in them, but couldn't tell what. Would highly recommend. Dora, the owner, is great...and the wait-staff, highly efficient!

This place is simply amazing. Me and my family tracked down this place for brunch after seeing a picture of their logger burger a friend of mine posted. I was impressed as soon as I walked in the door. Lovely country atmosphere and servers were super friendly. First of all you need about 10 minutes to decide what you want... More

Consistent homemade breakfasts, beats anything else available in Yakima. Everything is freshly made and hot from the kitchen, Service is pleasant and accurate even in busy times. I've eaten at all the breakfast places in Yakima and this is the one I return to. Simple seating, homey décor but the quality of the food is what's important. Don't let anyone... More

This place is like a very average Denny's with poor service, especially on Mothers Day... The back country French toast was Disappointing, hard and not all that tasty. The only saving grace was the bacon...

This is a family-run place located in a strip mall that has seen better days, but the interior was furnished nicely and they served us a really good breakfast. Service was a little slow, but we arrived at the tail end of a morning rush, so it was understandable. We loved the food and the prices were decent.

I like the chorizo, eggs & fried red potaotes with corn tortillas. Only thing missing is a nice cold Pacifico

Huge selection of breakfast choices served by a friendly and helpful staff. The backwoods french toast, covered with corn flakes is good, but very filling and heavy. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. All in all, this is a pleasant, out of the way spot to enjoy breakfast.

The french toast is awesome -- and so are other menu items.
