While staying overnight in Sunnyside, my wife and I went for a walk and stumbled upon this big log building that looked like a mini-Cabela's. It was Snipes Mountain Brewery. We looked at the menu and stayed for dinner. We're sure glad we did. The food and beer were great. This place would be impressive and a money-maker in Seattle,... More

Had lunch here on a work trip. The special was a lamb burger with awesome and real potato crinkle cut fries. It was most enjoyable. The service was great and the atmosphere in this out of the way place was just amazing. Sunnyside is a sleepy little farming community south of Yakima about 30 minutes. Don't miss getting off the... We asked around about where to find dinner near our hotel and Snipes was suggested. The decor is a typical microbrewery environment . . hard surface, loud noise. The wait staff was lacking and the food service deplorable. We had both finished a glass of wine before our food arrived and one order was not as requested. Instead of offering... More

I haven't been for a few months. And it's a bit out of the way, but when you are in Washington it is worth a trip to Snipes Mountain. I go there whenever I am in the area. Go for the Blond Beer. I should add that the food there is quite good, too. It's a nice combination of good... More

The beers were well crafted and nicely balanced. The numerous awards show we are not alone in our assesment. We had two different wood fired pizzas and both were very tasty. We has stopped ib earlier for a pint and to check out the menu. The bartender and a waitress both remembered us and welcomed us back. Much much better... More

The menu was mostly lackluster, garden variety 1950s diner, and overpriced at that. We dropped $40 including tip for two sandwiches-and-fries plates, a glass of water, and one unremarkable glass of white wine. About $10 more than it should have been. The vaulted ceilings and large square footage of the place make it feel more like a warehouse than a... More
