The atmosphere was great and the food was good tasting. The rib portions were generous, but a little too dry. The salmon was chunked and mixed in with the pasta rather than in a fillet with a side dish - which was not stated on the menu. The restaurant was less than half full, but it still took 40 minutes... It was a total disaster. Memorial Weekend & a near empty restaurant. We should have been clued in right away. They were out of the special, which was posted in two places on dry erase boards. They were out of 2 of their on tap beers. How does a brewery run out of one of their main beers? Waitress was... More

We stayed in Sunnyside for a wine tasting weekend. Got in at 9:30pm and everything was closed even though it was Friday. I needed a beer after a long drive and thought for sure Snipes would turn us away at 9:50. Nope. They happily stayed open well after 10 to serve us and the others already there. Their beers are... Food was good, if not outstanding. Service was fine, until I had to wait for our server to come back from a break. Nice fireplace to sit by. Beer was a little disappointing.

I would rate the food as having been good to very good. The beers were tasty and portions generous. My shrimp were perfect and dessert was a definite winner. What took this from good to very good was the warm atmosphere and the attentive service. It did not disappoint for a local brewery.

Recommended by the clerk at our nearby hotel when we requested a good local restaurant, Snipes delivered in spades! I love Bruschetta and often use it as a test when trying out a new restaurant. Although listed as an appetizer, the price was such that i felt safe ordering it as my dinner and that proved to be the case.... More

Snipes is fun. Was a nice stop after a long day of driving & site seeing. Good friendly service & helpful with menu choices. We had pizza & salad very good for two. Enjoyed the beer. They do have wine & by the glass too. Will be back

Snipes Mountain Restaurant in the heart of Sunnyside and Wine Country is one of the areas best stops. The facility is used for intimate dinners, reunions, anniversaries, and Bridge parties as well as a bar featuring prime ales and beers and wines. The menu is the real advantage as it has "something for everybody," literally. The Brewer's Burger is my... More

Could not find a menu on their web site.... so had to go to check it out. Large portions and fast service for a tuesday night meal.Open kitchen concept and high ceiling logstyle building. Had a burger and fish and chips and both were hot and well stacked with delicious waffle potatoes. They were wonderful. Nice view of pizza oven... More

A group of friends stopped in at Snipes after a day of biking the wineries...and WOW, did that pale-ale ever taste good?! Second only, to the awesome chicken special featured that evening along with the salmon-penne dish that i had. The service was a bit off and rushed (waitress was taking dessert orders and bussing our table while one in... More
