Make sure you take your appetite with you when you go. The portions Miner's serves are quite large and very good. They offer a large, clean dining room, and plenty of picnic tables in the shade outside. Prices are on the high side in my opinion.

Stopped at Miner's with friends and ordered what I thought was a decent sized sandwich. But I was totally full after half of it (Chicken Teriyaki sandwich). Absolutely outstanding (though the chicken was breaded). This place packs them in from all over. Whenever a high school or rec team comes to town they quite often head here because the coaches... What a great place, old school. I've read the negative reviews and I don't get it, I understand that prices have changed from when you used to go there years ago. And yup the chains are cheaper. You eat there, I'll eat here! The burgers a unique, full size burgers. And regarding price... one order of fries can easily feed... More

I am 40 yrs old & remember when Miners was one small building with some sitting in the front of the stand if you were lucky or on a patch of grass. I took a field trip there in high school (Davis H.S.) & they showed us how it all ran & this was long before the place it is... More

I have been stopping at Miner Burger for the last 40 years, either with my parents as a kid, or with my kids as a parent. Yes, I expect prices to go up from what they were in the 80's. But our family of four had to charge our lunch to the Visa. We stopped in on our way home... More

Visited recently. Been a couple of years (too long) since our last visit. As it has always been ,GREAT. First if all, best French Fries ever! Had them so many places including Miner's many times and I have concluded they are my overall favorite! Bacon burger sooo good. Love the onion and tomato portions. Crowded as usual which points out... More

Went to Miner's with high expectations just purely based on the reviews and word of mouth recommendations from friends, but with that said I wasn't too impressed. The burgers are huge - everything there is actually - but it was just a burger to me, nothing stood out. The fries on the other hand are unbelievable; crunchy, salty, and hot!... More

Plain and simple this is a decent burger joint pretty close to the Highway in Yakima ... we stopped here for a rest and a bite on the way down to Bend, Oregon. The portions are immense so unless you are really hungry you can share one. Nothing special though!

This hamburger place is usually packed but the food is really good. The shrimp sandwich was delicious. Lots of fries. Service wasn't too bad considering there were so many people there

We stopped here based on its history and reputation. My travel companion had been to Miner's before but it was my first. Miner's in known for their hamburgers, I myself do not eat beef so I cannot tell you if the Miner Burger is as good as they say. We arrived at the prime time because the line was short... More
