This place has been in business more than 50 years - which says a lot ! I wasn't very hungry and was put off by what seemed like a very expensive menu for hamburgers, fries etc... But, when the bacon burger arrived, I was amazed. I've never seen a bun and burger THAT large. My husband got the meal -... More

While driving throw Yakima I decided to stop for a burger at a fast food place until I spotted Miner's. Since I like to try a local place I went inside to look around. Spotting two police I suspected that they might have eaten there before so asked what their favorite burger was? "Miner Burger," one responded "But I have... More

The place to go if you like a juicey old fashioned burger. It is huge, and so is the order of fries. Plan on sharing your fries. I'm sure their other food is delicious too, I've been with friends who have ordered, for instance their chicken basket, wow! Enough for another meal! My favorite is their famous burger. I take... Make sure you take your appetite with you when you go. The portions Miner's serves are quite large and very good. They offer a large, clean dining room, and plenty of picnic tables in the shade outside. Prices are on the high side in my opinion.

Stopped at Miner's with friends and ordered what I thought was a decent sized sandwich. But I was totally full after half of it (Chicken Teriyaki sandwich). Absolutely outstanding (though the chicken was breaded). This place packs them in from all over. Whenever a high school or rec team comes to town they quite often head here because the coaches... What a great place, old school. I've read the negative reviews and I don't get it, I understand that prices have changed from when you used to go there years ago. And yup the chains are cheaper. You eat there, I'll eat here! The burgers a unique, full size burgers. And regarding price... one order of fries can easily feed... More

I am 40 yrs old & remember when Miners was one small building with some sitting in the front of the stand if you were lucky or on a patch of grass. I took a field trip there in high school (Davis H.S.) & they showed us how it all ran & this was long before the place it is... More

I have been stopping at Miner Burger for the last 40 years, either with my parents as a kid, or with my kids as a parent. Yes, I expect prices to go up from what they were in the 80's. But our family of four had to charge our lunch to the Visa. We stopped in on our way home... More

Visited recently. Been a couple of years (too long) since our last visit. As it has always been ,GREAT. First if all, best French Fries ever! Had them so many places including Miner's many times and I have concluded they are my overall favorite! Bacon burger sooo good. Love the onion and tomato portions. Crowded as usual which points out... More
