Miner's is the place to take your visiting out-of-town guests, and in my case, out-of-country international guests. They are blown away by the "hugeness" of the place and its large yummy burgers and portion size. Lots of excitement in the atmosphere along with Indian artifacts, this place is one-of-a-kind! A must-do when in Yakima.

Very expensive for what you get. I think the only reason they staty so busy, is because they give the bus drivers and coaches free food. Then students need to bring at least $15-$20 if they want a full meal. I think they need to be more aware of their customers.

This is not just a burger joint, this is a Yakima institution. This eatery has been here for years and is frequented by many, including (most, if not all) visiting sports teams to the valley. The burgers are good and Huge. It's a must try!

This place was PACKED every time we drove by. The Sonic down the road was deserted every time we drove by. Miner's has been there since 1948 so Yakima is loyal. They have a HUGE menu too. We'll go again.

Food is good but too darn expensive. The "Big Miner" is tasty but for $5, plus $3 for fries and $3.5 for a shake, you are out $12. Too much for me for a fast food joint.

I am in Yakima for a week for work and am relying on trip advisor to inform me where to eat. When I read other reviewers dating this place had hilariously large hamburgers and monstrous size fried potato portions I thought I had to eat there! First off, let me say this: I'm FULL! But you can get full anywhere.... More

Dining at Miners, you soon find out why people from all over come there. They serve large burgers and milkshakes which are all affordable. They serve alot of the visiting school sports teams as well as auto clubs, and the regular local joe that is looking for alittle bit of history. The staff is freindly and the wait time for burgers... Great onion rings but for a family very expensive. A small shake runs you nearly four dollars! So I would just come for shakes and bring cash if on a budget cut burgers in half.

This is a classic "50's style" big burger, onion rings place. Been there for years. Got to stop there at least once on each trip. Not "haute cuisine", but a pretty good burger, if you like onions, and all the fixen's.
