Huge Burgers

This place is known for their colossal sized burgers. Portions are large and the shakes are tasty. It is quite costly though! We spent over $50 for our family. We all shared 2 burgers and a basket of fries and chicken tenders and each got a small shake.

What happened to the home of the Big Miner? The burger got smaller and the price went up ! It use to be worth the money now it's just ordinary!!

This restaurant has been around for 30 years BEFORE I graduated from High School in the early 70's! The food is pricier than it used to be, but isn't every place like that? The Big Miner burger is awesome, and you have to try the Onion rings. It's all made fresh, no heat lamps, and the Miner family still own... More

The food was both quality and quantity. We ordered burger combos and nobody was able to finish, even though it was so good. The shakes are wonderful.

We love this place when we go through Yakima. I grew up going to Miner's after sports games and it hasn't changed much (other than the higher prices😉). The hamburgers are huge and they give tons of fries or tater tots with your order. They charge an extra $1.50 to upgrade your drink to a shake and they are yummy.... More

My wife and her family have gone her for years and this is the second time that I have been and I love it. It looks a little expensive at first until you see the size of what you get. I eat quite a bit the 1 combo meal is more than enough for my wife and I to split.... More

If you go to Yakima - you have to go to Miners. Get the peanut butter shake with a big miner meal and fry sauce. If I ever had to choose a "last meal" that would be it.

The guy at the drive through window was AMAZING. He was taking orders, running over and taking money, going out into the line and taking more orders-a one man show, all while smiling and answering all questions patiently. The food is HUGE. If we had known this we would have shared the burgers instead of each ordering one. The fries... More

We went to Miners Friday evening for a burger. We each ordered a basket which included the burger, a drink and fries. We managed to eat our burgers which were at least 6 or 7 inches in diameter, filled with meat cheese and veggies. My wife had chicken and the fillet covered her huge sandwich as well. We almost finished... More

We use to go here back when I was in high school. It is good to know that 25 years later it is still open for business. Although their prices are higher than some places Their quality is top notch and portions are plentiful. There is a reason they have been around this long. It is worth the trip.
