From the moment we arrived we received nothing but great service and better food. The building does look a little down on the outside but the inside is totally different and unexpected. Our family will return.

The bartender was a blast. Worked his tail off and was a riot. Everyone was great even though it was a packed house! I will definately go back.

The food was great and the margaritas delicious. It was a short walk from our hotel so the location was perfect. It a very large restaurant and can serve large groups well.

Nothing bad to say just was not outstanding. Had the chicken fajitas and they only gave three corn tortillas. Good salsa.

Good food, great atmosphere, and close to hotels. Try the Carne Asada. The place is always busy and its a fun lively attitude. The wait staff is great and very accommodating. The house salsa is some of the best I have tasted.

I agree with the rest of the reviewers. The outside looks like a standard Mexican restaurant, but inside it looks huge and inviting with colorful Mexican decor everywhere and a very high ceiling. Food and service were very good, better than your average northwest Mexican restaurant. Menu selection is large. We only waited a few minutes before being seated on... More

It is a very large but friendly restaurant. The food was very good. I had chicken carne asada. My wife had the stew (I don't remember the name of it). They were both excellent. The services were very good and attentive. We recommend this restaurant.

I had dinner here at the recommendation of the hotel staff at the Howard Johnson in town. I asked for 'authentic' Mexican food (hard to find in Western Wa.) and boy! I got what I asked for too! Delicious home made tortilla's..great Margarita's, left very happy!

El Mirador is a big, colorful, family friendly restaurant in town and across from Walmart and other shopping. The food is good, catering to American style Mexican food although they have somr authentic items on the menu such as Chilaquiles. Yakima is a town full of Mexican restaurants, taco stands, and taco trucks so your options are varied. If you... More
