Xochimilco is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Yakima. The food is tasty and authentic and the servers always make dining there a special experience. I especially love the Queso dip appetizer and veggie fajitas.

So let's be blunt. I'm from Portland and am use to prices being more than a restaurant deserves and I have had the privilege of marrying info a traditional Mexican family. With that being said, eat here. I ordered the pollo a la crema, munched on the carbs azada and chicken fajitas. All were very good to say the least.... More

We decided to brave the snow and try Xochimilco in the Glenwood Square location. The service was excellent and the staff friendly and warm. My hubby had the Colarado Burrito and couldn't't stop raving about it. I always order the Chili Relleno because it is a favorite of mine. This is the best I've had in Yakima bar none. The... More

My wife love's this place. They make the rice from scratch they don't use Johnnys seasoning salt like most Mexican restaurants. They aren't totally gluten free but better than most Mexican restaurants. Let the waiter know if you have a gluten allergie and they will make sure of no cross contamination. Worth a stop.

I went for dinner and ordered the xochimilco margarita…it was very, very good - huge and when the glass was filled at the table from the shaker the shaker was left on the table for a full second refill! I ordered their special chicken mole. It was really, good and authentic. It was $30 for one person for those two... More

You wont regret this place. We stopped in on the 4th of July and it was open. Several of thje other Mexican places were closed. The food portions were generous. The salsa and chips kept coming and the grande margaritas were just what we needed. Perfect in every way. Our server: Yesenia was very tolerate of our speaking in spanish,... More

They are REALLY nice people. Some of our dishes were yummy (EX: creamy chicken, enchilada with green sauce), but the fajita meat was too tough and chewy. The worst was that the red enchilada sauce has peanut butter in it and our daughter is VERY allergic. OUr fault as we didn't ask--just never had PB in mexican food. They felt... More

Located off the beaten path at 2304 Nob Hill in Yakima, this small family restaurante serves up the best mole dishes that can be found. Not the chocolate-sweet mole that's so often found in Mexican restaurants in the USA, this mole is very especiale. Smokey and spicy, their mole topped on pozole (hominy, with shredded chicken) is right out of... More

We have been searching Yakima for a decent Mexican restaurant-one we would return to and recommend. Finally, we have found one. We ordered cheese and onion enchiladas with mole. They were absolutely fabulous. My husband confessed he was tempted to get an order to go, so he could have them for lunch the next day. We travel through Yakima about... More

Five of us went out to eat this Easter Sunday. Items ordered at our table: arroz con pollo, nachos, fajita supreme, veggie burrito, and Molcojete. First the bad news: four of the five of us were meh on the food. Mpi had the arroz con pollo, a dish I have had and loved...but not this one, it was super filling... More
