Fantastic smells and flavors as we tasted 4 different main dishes, that included lamb, chicken and shrimp, along with vegetarian dishes. We will be returning!!

Being from England, my favorite food has always been Indian. My husband and I have been to the Taj Palace almost 6 times within the past 2 months. I've tried many different Indian restaurants but none compare to the delicious meals we've had at the Taj Palace! My husband had never tried Indian food before and I begged him to... More

This little gem in Yakima is much better than most Indian restaurants in Seattle. Definitely worth a visit in you're in Yakima. We had an early dinner on a weekend. We had to wait for a while since they wanted to give us a nice window seat. The service was fast and friendly once we were seated. Veggie pakoras accompanied... More

The odor was very strong. It smelled like day-old rice which was left at room temperature in summer time. I personally do not think food like that should be served to customers. That was the worst cooked rice we've ever had at any restaurant. We ordered 2 dishes with the same type of sauce, one was good but other one... More

Came back from a long trip with nothing in the refrigerator and had friends from my 50th college reunion in town. It was Sunday and this was open. As it has had good reviews and having only been here once before we decided to try it again. The food was actually quite good but was a buffet and I felt... More

Looking for a quick, excellent, friendly, quiet place for lunch? Taj Palace is the place! They serve a daily lunch buffet that is amazing! We love the Dal Tadka/lentils, Navratten Korma,Butter Chicken and fresh Naan. I like the salad too and add mint chutney. For dessert you can have rice pudding or mango pudding. Stop by Larson Gallery down the... More

Taj Palace has some of the worst Indian food I've ever eaten. In place of rich spices you'll find salt, lots of salt. Our meal was not tasty, and not at all authentic.

OK, the title sounds noble, but I must be honest, I find the best food going to unknown local places, and this is no different. I really enjoy great Indian food, and went here for the first time. I had the Daj soup, and a Matchumber salad which were great! The Soup was actually the high point of my dinner...so... More

I've been to Taj Palace several times. The lunch buffet is exceptional! Consitently delicious, fresh, well-kept and authentic (from my perspective anyway, although I'm not an Indian food aficionado!). In addition to the quality food, the staff are friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. Great place! Yakima is lucky to have Taj Palace.

I love this food! I live about an hour and a half from Yakima, but I love this restaurant so much that I keep finding excuses to make trips just so I can go eat at Taj Palace. Although I cannot say that I have ever eaten Indian food in India, I have eaten it in other places all over... More
