Pretty darn good, says Jersey girl

I am an Italian girl from Jersey and am pretty critical of Italian restaurants in the Seattle area. I was pleasantly surprised when I was at pasta nova. I had tge eggplant parmesan and I thought it was pretty good. It came out very hot and super saucy which is the way I like it. My friend had the... read more

We LOVE this restaurant! It is our favorite Italian food in the Seattle area--having moved from St. Louis, MO, where The Hill was a conclave of Italian restaurants! Rafaeli and Fred are gracious host and chef -- and the intimacy of the little space works perfectly for any kind and size of gathering! The Chicken Gorgonzola is always our favorite... More

Please don't be deterred because it's located in a strip mall. We were in the area, stopped and had lunch on the patio. AMAZING food! We had 3 different dishes and they were all incredible. They were extremely accommodating for Gluten Free meals...we could modify any of the dishes. Staff was super friendly and helpful too. Loved it and will... More

Considering that this restaurant is in a strip mall, it was certainly much better than I was expecting. The décor was inviting and even somewhat charming. The service was very good. I had lunch here with friends and I ordered one of the Panini's. It was tasty and the salad that came with it was good, too. The waiter was... More

The food and service are excellent. Nice wine selection but can also bring your own for a reasonable corkage fee.

My girlfriend and I went to Pasta Nova after the movies and were seated pretty quickly. It took a little bit of time for us to get water, but then the wine, the bread and seasoned olive oil (yum!) arrived in no time. Our appetizer, salads, and dinners came out very quickly after that. My girlfriend had the Chicken Gorgonzola... More

Woodinville is full of little strip malls, which are full of little storefront-type restaurants. Most of them are national chains (Chipotle, etc), or mini-chains (family owns several eateries in the region). Few of them area appealing enough to actually draw you inside. Pasta Nova, though, seems to be a family indie that hits the right note between exurban and Seattle.... More

This place was well reviewed by the people who worked in the wineries we toured in the area. Luckily we went early it got very busy at the dinner hour. Excellent food, good atmosphere, reasonable prices.
