It's difficult to say what is most appealing about the Barking Frog - the food, the wine, the atmosphere. All of the above earned this casual bistro featuring country fresh Northwest cuisine rave reviews. Honors have included "Restaurant of the Year", "Most Innovative Wine List" and "Wine Grand Award" awards, presented by the Washington Wine Commission. Delectable dishes entice guests to linger in the light-filled dining room or to gather around the fireplace. While in the summer, lunch and dinner are served in the courtyard. Wine tasting in Fireside Cellars - Many wineries are open for public tastings, others are not. Catch just off Samamish Trail

Simple and cozy place amongst lovely grounds next to Willows Lodge. Quality, fresh, tasty, and satisfying food. The wine menu appears to be prized. We enjoy treating ourselves to their lunch menu in between walking to and from Woodinville on the Samamish Trail.

We went here for our wedding reception, just family. The food was too "different" for our "regular-folk" guests to eat. We should have sampled the menu ahead of time. It wasn't all that good. Plus they sat us in a big round table, with a fireplace in the center, so it was impossible to speak with anyone except those right... More

Top notch dining in a lovely woodsy decor. Food was expertly prepared and very innovative. Service was outstanding. Just felt pampered and relaxed the whole time there. Definitely worth it.

The Barking Frog hits the price/performance point but does not exceed expectations in any way. I've eaten there 3 or 4 times and it's a reliable experience. It's popularity can make it necessary to make reservations most nights, particularly if you want your choice of seats (in/out). Service is good.

A wonderful place for unique dishes of the season. Without paying high prices. The chef came out to our table to see if all was well. I nice touch to the visit.

We had both a wonderful dinner and lunch here. The dessert was incredible and the rest of both meals delicous. Would love to try more of their menu.

Great food, great drinks, and excellent service...what more could you want! A great spot for any meal but I particularly enjoy their breakfasts with a mimosa!

The food is spectacular. We showed up two hours early and they were able to find a table for us an hour before our reservation. Great ambiance and the most delicious ribeye I've ever had. It's was so good I picked up the bone to eat the remnants.
