It's difficult to say what is most appealing about the Barking Frog - the food, the wine, the atmosphere. All of the above earned this casual bistro featuring country fresh Northwest cuisine rave reviews. Honors have included "Restaurant of the Year", "Most Innovative Wine List" and "Wine Grand Award" awards, presented by the Washington Wine Commission. Delectable dishes entice guests to linger in the light-filled dining room or to gather around the fireplace. While in the summer, lunch and dinner are served in the courtyard. Wine tasting in Fireside Cellars - Many wineries are open for public tastings, others are not. However, there is one place where you can relax with friends and fellow guests to taste the finest that Woodinville Wine Country has to offer - Fireside Cellars at Willows Lodge. Join us from 4PM-11PM Sunday-Thursday and 4PM-12AM Friday and Saturday. On weekends, the sweet smell of crepes fills the air as the Fireside Cellars is now open and offers both sweet and savory crepes along with oatmeal, pastries and your favorite coffee/espresso. Open Saturdays and Sundays from 8AM-1PM.

It doesn't get better than this.....

Sunday brunch for 4 on 4-19-15 at 11:30 am Order: breakfast burrito, omelet, huevos ranchero and bacon/egg/potato entrees. Beignets to share, coffee, wine. Everything was cooked to perfection, not a single should have. Food was simply delicious. Service was perfect. A must do for brunch!!!!

Vegetarians/vegans take note! Upon making reservations my friend indicated that there was a vegetarian and a vegan in the party. When we arrived, the waitress already knew of our dietary preferences and provided us with a special menu. We felt welcome and included, which is so often not the case for vegetarians in nice restaurants. The food was all so... More

We went twice for breakfast which was terrific and once for dinner. The dinner menu was not big but the food was terrific! We will return.

We were staying at the Willows Lodge for my boyfriend's birthday weekend and I had always heard great things about the Barking Frog, we were not disappointed! Upon sitting down our hostess brought over a birthday card for my boyfriend signed by all the staff, apparently the Lodge had let them know and it was a very nice touch. Our... More

This is a very good restaurant in a beautiful setting. The staff, including reception, wait staff, and management, are all very professional. Many of the food items were outstanding, some fair. We were there for brunch. I would highly recommend the huevos rancheros! The beignets were more like triangular donuts, but the biscuits were flaky and outstanding. The coffee is... More

One of the traditions that we enjoy is Easter breakfast at The Barking Frog (also enjoy dinners too, but that's a different story). The menu is generally simple but at the same time, pretty comprehensive with dishes ranging from oatmeal to eggs benedict. Our 2015 version of Easter Brunch included the very, very tasty beignets (we went outside the blueberry... More

Excellent food, service and atmosphere, but they need to tone down the ridiculous ingredients to make the menu too complicated and less approachable. Examples straight off the menu: coteghino grand ewe fondue pickled shimejis salsify Come on.. pickled shimejis?? While I kid about it, the food is excellent.. and pricey.

Drove north to go hiking. Typical seattle day, rainy Wednesday. Stopped in Woodinville for brunch, Barking frog looked good, called ahead to make sure they were open. As we went through the doors, we knew it would be an experience. Much more upscale than we thought. The seating hostess remembered me from the phone call, and had made reservations even... More

Fantastic service. Meal was great.... especially the prawn appetizer. Meal prices were quite reasonable, although wine prices were quite high.

Had our anniversary dinner at the Barking Frog and it was one of the best meals ever. The decor, service, special touches (anniversary card from the staff), wine, desserts were so good that it has taken 5 months to get up the courage to write a review that lives up to the standards of the meal. We started the evening... More
