Purple is a one to two minute walk from about a dozen wine tasting rooms. When we asked about a good place to eat, the server at the Goose Ridge tasting room said we were in luck because in was Wednesday - when Purple, across the street, prepared thier once a week double-battered buttermilk fried chicken. They start serving dinner... More

Love the ambiance (fun, a little noisy, classy and thoughtful) and the food. The service was terrific and the attention to detail with special dietary needs was sincerely appreciated.

I'm reluctant to review this informal cafe because it will make it even busier than it already is. However, nothing about our meal disappointed us when I took my son and daughter-in-law there on a Sunday evening recently. Service was perfect--not cloying but attentive enough. I ate the best French Dip I've ever tasted, and the slivered fries were outstanding.... More

We shared a wonderful salad and the Halibut and both dishes were perfectly prepared! The service was great and the atmosphere is really nice.

What I particularly enjoyed was that the cafe offers healthy lunch options. The salads and sandwiches were fresh and delicious. A lovely spot to stop while on the wine trail :-)

This restaurant is casual but delicions. They have a great menu and a nice wine list. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and there is plenty of outdoor seating.

Start or end your wine tour here. The food is unique, yet comforting. the atmosphere lively and the price point is the going rate.

We had a gift card to use here so we decided to try it out. When we arrived, the cafe was not super busy but they put us upstairs by a big open window with a fan going so it was blowing on us and it was a rainy day so I got pretty chilly. That isn't really a reflection... More

purple cafe and wine bar did not staying close to their ratings. Our first course was the Chef's cheese platter with wine pairing. The server didn't even know the wine and we had to look it up ourselves and we had to rely on the food expediter for an explanation of the cheese. Next was a filet and mushroom appetizer... More

This was the second time I have eaten here while visiting the area. We arrived for a fairly early dinner so didn't have to worry about reservations, but even with empty tables the place is so noisy it's hard to carry on a conversation. We opted to sit outside near the patio heater, which was much quieter and actually quite... More
