What a great place to stop

It's bigger on the inside! I was worried we were going to be cramped in this tiny little school house. But the place has got outside seating that dang near triples the business' size. Right long the river. It was a good stop. My son had his birthday lunch there, Momma had an Uncle Bigg's Brown... read more

Great salads, excellent sandwiches, order the fries! Service was good. Tip: if you're going during the summer, eat indoors as the swarms of Yellow Jackets are VERY problematic.

A great place to dine on the patio beside a gorgeous river. Food was good, however the scenery stole the show! Award winning Beers and wine served. Would go back just for the patio scene!

7 of us (3 adults and 4 kids, 17 - 7) went there for dinner while in Winthrop. The main inside restaurant is sort of small and narrow but i guess OK. We ate out on the back deck overlooking the river. Service was average and the food and prices OK, but hardly spectacular. A few annoyances. First, one had... More

Great lunch spot with the kids. Love beer- have kids? Stop for lunch here. We sat out back and enjoyed our lunch. Great beer. I am going back for portabella mushroom burger. They were out! Good service.

Whenever we head to Chelan, we always hit the schoolhouse. I think our current favorite is the Ruud IPA.. I like the brown ale in the fall but definitely the ipa in the summer. I had a burger and it was okay. The rest of us had fish and chips (really good) and chicken strips (ok)... Service is nice but... More

My family and I stopped here for a late dinner. We all went the burger route, which resulted on average fare where the only surprise was the above average side salad that was substituted for fries (at an additional cost). The locally brewed beer has to be the true attraction here. We had one that was pretty good (although we... More

Great beer! The food is really good to. If you are in the mood for good food that isn't fancy, this should be your pick in Winthrop. The deck is nice and they often do live music. Inside can get a little rowdy for families, especially near the bar which is often busy. The wait staff was prompt and helpful... More

Friendly staff, great Burger and fries. The beer was fantastic and I would have liked to sample more but I had a bicycle to pedal. I spoke to the owner who employs Danbert Nobacon from Chumbawamaba And I was given his number to ring. It's a must visit place.

Stopped in to get a cold beer on a very hot summer day. What a pleasant surprise! Ice cold beer and very delicious high quality food that can hold it's own against any big city gastropub. Friendly service too.
