This restaurant sits right near the water in the Westport Boat basin. A lovely setting. However, the menu selections were few, and I they were out of one of the things I wanted. Service was slow, and it was not a busy evening. I ended up just ordering a bowl of soup which arrived lukewarm and didn't taste good enough... More

The food was varied. I had fish and chips which was ok while my wife's soup was lukewarm. Nice marina view and outside seating when it is warm enough.

It was late when we checked in to our room and we noticed that not much was open so we decided to eat at this restaurant associated with our hotel. I should have gone hungry. My brother and mom both got the "house made", "award-winning" clam chowder. That was not very good, and decidedly from a can. I asked if... More

The restaurant has limited tables by the window with a harbor view. There are more tables with a view in the bar. Prices are pretty high, but happy hour in the bar is reasonable. Service started off with a smile, and then we were ignored. Not even eye-contact when the food was delivered. And, yes, we were friendly. It's an... More

We sat in the bar area. It took the waitress 12 minutes to acknowledge our presence. We got our food before we ever got our drinks. Nothing was served fresh. Though crab is a huge business in this town, this restaurant does not serve fresh crab. We got crab cakes and it was obvious that they had spent some time... More

This seemed like a perfect spot for our large group (8 adults 5 kids), right on the water. We were seated right away & given menus, ordered our drinks and the wait began. The place was virtually empty and the wait for our drinks should have been a sign of things to come. We placed our order and then waited... More

Not expecting gourmet fare, we were amazed at the quality of the seared tuna, pleased with the crab cakes and more than happy with the seafood cannelloni. Add to this, good service, cold frothy stuff and weird but amazing Bloody Marys. In a town that was as dead as the proverbial Dodo, half moon shined like a light in the... More

We were in Westport at lunch time and wanted to find lunch that was not fried fish. Half Moon Bay has a nice variety of foods on the menu. This is also a bar with a large selection of beer on tap and huge Bloody Mary's made with house made mix. The food was tasty and the view down the... More

We just had drinks here, they were good. They had shrimp, cheese and pepper stick on the skewers. $15 a piece. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the view and the sunshine. The restuarant is attached to a hotel. They have a cute gift shop in the lobby and have a happy hour shopping special.
