The Union Square Deli is great. As other reviewers mention, they have a small bar, live music on Friday nights, a friendly staff and really GREAT espresso. My favorite is the Iced Caramel Latte. Good prices too.

We only had lunch there - but the warps and cheese steak sandwich were very good, especially the home made potato salad. They also have a small selection of that famous Olympic Mountain ice cream.

This is a great place for fresh food. They have great sandwiches and panini plus pizzas and salads. Their menu isn't huge but everything I've tried has been good. I love their bar menu. They have a nice wine and beer selection and they make really good cocktails. I've tried martinis, mojitos and lemon drops made with fresh fruits or... More

Food was good but pretty small menu. Service was good, but if they are busy it just takes some time with small amount of staff. We enjoyed the Friday night music and they have reasonably priced food and beer. We would eat there next time we are in town.

Needed something quick and easy one night and decided to try Union Square Deli. I wanted pizza so I tried the small meat lovers. It was really good! Good enough that when we had company the next night we ordered 3 larges to feed the 7 of us...had the equivalent of one pizza left. Will eat that tonight.

Stopped in for lunch with my children. I had a delicious turkey/swiss sandwich and they had pb&j which was a real sandwich and not just a thin smear of each on flimsy white bread (as with many restaurants/children's menus). Made the drive back for lunch a week later when we were in the hood canal area again. The wait was... More

This is a good find if you don't want to spend a lot of money for breakfast or lunch. Good quality food and good service.

My husband and I stayed at the Alderbrook for 2 nights. We had lunch both days at Union Square Deli. The panini sandwiches are to die for! We walked there for lunch the second day as it is only a short walk up the road. Service was nice but slow. Go here for an affordable place for breakfast, lunch or... More

This is a local business that makes delicious sandwiches, pizzas, calzones and lots more. Cozy atmosphere where locals like to hang and listen to music on Friday nights.
