We had been waiting with great expectations for the new owners to get settled in. Last night three of us decided to eat there. We will not be back. We all ordered filet mignon 2 medium and 1 medium rare. They all came as well done. The meals each cost $23 for a 6 oz steak. One steak would have... More

This is a small little restaurant that only can handle small groups. The food was above average and the service was charming. The sampler appetizer and the fish and chips were the best at our table. Steaks were good for the size of the restaurant.

The Robin Hood Restaurant was a short distance from the lodge where we stayed and it was outstanding too. A bit less formal with great ambiance. They too were able to accommodate our large group and the service was impeccable. Their food was off the charts too. Wonderful!!!

This local dig is now under new management and seems to have forgotten the locals that keep it going after the tourists leave! For the most part the food has remained essentially the same but gone up in price ( $19 for a Bacon Cheeseburger ). The inside has been stripped of most interesting memorabilia and the old staff who... More

This restaurant and resort dates back to Errol Flynn's movie director, but the latest new owners took over just a few months ago. The new incarnation is still working out a kink or two, but well worth a visit. We started with the Lemon-drop Prawns, which were just mildly tart, lightly battered, and incredibly tasty. Then on to the coho... More

I used to live in Union and Robin Hood has been in my blood for over 30 years. I actually used to run the resort. Recently the Restaurant has been taken over by the resort, and I had mixed thoughts of what I was going to see happen. I am IMPRESSED. The whole place has been redone to the better... More

This is "the other" restaurant in Union. Good food, though not truly great. Not too pricy, but not cheap. Bet feature was the ability to eat the meal outside, by the burbling brook (yes!). The outdoor grounds are not large, but very pleasant and relaxing. Certainly worth a stop if you are passing by, hungry, and in the mood for... More

It's a VERY CUTE place. If you're looking for the romantic getaway, it can be the place. Our last visit was OK food, had scallops and my husband had a steak, but the prices are outrageous for the quality. I know you basically get your own waitperson, but that is kinda silly. Plus, when we arrived. I was given the... More
