Change of owners

I frequent this place quite often and have always loved it.. It has now changed hands and is going through some adjustments but still pretty darn good.. Most of the previous staff stayed on and that is good.. I prefer sitting in the Pub as it is more low key. Still one of my favorite local places..

Some people have mentioned they don't like this place as well with the new owners, however our experience is just the opposite. We had tried it a few times in the past but never felt we had a very good meal and that it was priced a bit high, like the Alderbrook Inn down the road. We were given a... More

This was a fun restaurant to eat dinner at. The staff was wonderful and easy to work with. The food was very good and our group had a great time.

Dined on back deck and when the sun went down we were pretty much in complete darkness. Not appetizing or romantic and a real safety hazard for their very friendly wait staff. Food was less than excellent and a disappointment. I ordered a salad and my husband requested a grilled cheese sandwich with a bowl of basil tomato soup. The... More

Oyster appetizer tasty. Open mic night. Great weather chose outdoor seating. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food.

We had been waiting with great expectations for the new owners to get settled in. Last night three of us decided to eat there. We will not be back. We all ordered filet mignon 2 medium and 1 medium rare. They all came as well done. The meals each cost $23 for a 6 oz steak. One steak would have... More

This is a small little restaurant that only can handle small groups. The food was above average and the service was charming. The sampler appetizer and the fish and chips were the best at our table. Steaks were good for the size of the restaurant.

The Robin Hood Restaurant was a short distance from the lodge where we stayed and it was outstanding too. A bit less formal with great ambiance. They too were able to accommodate our large group and the service was impeccable. Their food was off the charts too. Wonderful!!!

This local dig is now under new management and seems to have forgotten the locals that keep it going after the tourists leave! For the most part the food has remained essentially the same but gone up in price ( $19 for a Bacon Cheeseburger ). The inside has been stripped of most interesting memorabilia and the old staff who... More
