We've eaten here several times and always enjoy the food. It wins hands down over Alderbrook. There is a wide and varied menu selection. The wait staff is very pleasant. Love going into the pub side after a lovely meal in the main dining room. This is an old establishment and has been doing a good job for many years.

I arrived after a short walk from the Alderbrook resort. With the assistance of the bar keep, and a friendly local, I choose my beer and headed out to the patio! My group arrived later and we enjoyed a delicious meal, wine and great service. The staff are really good and know hoe to deliver a great customer experience. This... More

Recently visited over the weekend and decided to stop here after looking at the very limited choices in the Hood Canal area. While I appreciate a restaurant using local and organic ingredients, if these ingredients aren't cooked well it's a wasted effort. I ordered the halibut and fries, English style and paid $20. Excessive is cost in my book considering... More

We eat here at least one a month. The service is always great and the food is good. Not a huge variety on the menu but it has something for everyone. The atmosphere is very relaxing and is a great way place to unwind at the end of the day.

Maybe we hit it on an off night. They didn't have any of the really interesting things we had wanted to try (game, etc) Not an oyster fan, so there were very limited options. I had read raves about the fresh organic food - our salads were about the most tasteless things we had ever had. They didn't taste bad... More

I would not say this is the best restaurant. Food was average and nothing exceptional. However, this one is best of the lot if you are looking for something not far from the "union" area of hood canal. The food price is decent compared to others and atmosphere is interesting.

It may be odd that this restaurant is located at a campground/cottage but don't dismiss it. The food is amazing, the drinks well blended, and the atmosphere is as nice as most 5 star restaurants. For a more casual feel dine in the adjoining pub. I had the prime rib, my wife had the meatloaf and my 10 yr old... More

FAR better than the overpriced, mediocre presentations at the Alderbrook Resort Restaurant, and just a hop and a skip down the road. Not fancy, but some of the best fish and chips ever, light and flavorful. Very good service, good, fresh steamers and Hama Hama panfried oysters.

This is a great restaurant. Very nice menu, service, and the food is worth the drive. The building has some interesting cinema history and if the weather is nice try to be seated outside. Ask about the building and the painting in the bar.
