Amazing Mexican food

Courteous service and delicious food. The best in the area! Take time to sit down and eat breakfast or dinner..or lunch! Also they sell pan dolce. They have a little store inside as well.

Neither a serious restaurant nor simply a taqueria, Ramirez sits somewhere in between. It's also a Mexican grocery store. but one thing it absolutely is: serving really authentic and well-spiced Mexican food. Tonite I delighted in pulled pork with nopeles served with nicely seasoned beans (lottsa oregano) and rice. The house-made corn tortillas...freshly made, super tasty. We also shared a... More

Ramirez is a little confused as to it's identity... the highway sign is for the tortillas, the mall signs are for a Mexican Grocery and the front door calls it a food shop. It's all three. Done well! At the far back (North) corner of the strip mall they've carved out three rooms (plus a kitchen) two for the restaurant... More

We got three meals here and none of us could eat them. I'm not picky. I was in the Army for six years and survived the food. I backpack and eat freeze dried meals. I got the pork chops and they were so incredibly salty that they were inedible. I tried. I was hungry. Could not do it. Our daughter... More

Great Mexican food, I spent 50 years in Southern California and when I moved up here I could not find a truly good Mexican food place at all...until Ramirez. Try the wet burrito, you will not walk out hungry ( and you will probably not eat dinner). Outstanding Tamales and Machacca.

These folks are the real thing. The food is authentic and plentiful. There is usually enough to take home for lunch the next day. They also have the Mexican food store in the restaurant so there food is fresh. They also make great tortillas. This is not your usual Americanized Mexican food place.

Eaten here many times. I think my favorite is the steak in anything. Just a plate of thin cut or a burrito. Just have them limit the amount of lettuce in the burrito.

We came for their huge burritos, but my favorite is the carnitas platter. Tamales are great, and I could live on happy hour tacos. It's a store, it's a tortilla factory, its a cafe.

An extension of Ramirez restaurant (Tumwater), this is take-out. (There is a small counter and a table outside.) Same excellent food and service. Located in an unassuming space next to Shell gas station. I missed it the first few times. They sell meats by the pound (i.e., chili verde) and salsas, guacamole, drinks and limited number of desserts. So happy... More

Friendly service, tasty food, and a unique atmosphere. Portions were very large. Plenty big enough to share. We all had two full meals out of our food.
