Good food. Super cool old building. Had the Reuben and it was tasty. My husband had the BLT and it was also good.

My husband and I visit TroutLake Trout Lake every couple of years and always make a point to eat at The Country Inn. There are new owners and they were so rude to us. The woman at the bar did not want to be bothered. The food was very good but it took for ever and we are patient people!!... More
We had burgers but it was definitely prepared by someone who knows how to cook. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The potato salad let me wanting more with a very uniqu flavor The baked beans were also yummy. We enjoyed the huckleberry pie. Also homemade. This is worth a stop.
Had dinner on the porch as there appeared to be a meeting inside. Was a perfect place to be and had great service. Enjoyed reading about the history of the 111 year old building while we waited for our food. The fire roasted veggie sandwich was outstanding and, although I wasn't sure about it, the chickpea salad left me wanting... More
We had read reviews that mentioned a good breakfast so we drove several miles to get there. Shoot, opens At 11:30. A bit late for breakfast It is on a back street in this very small town. Rural, cute inside and out from our view through the window
Grandson: great, burgers! That's what I'm having! No, wait, the sides are baked beans or potato salad. No french fries! But aside from that small catastrophe, we all had a great meal here. Ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, and while the dishes are not creative, it is good, wholesome, tasty food. The building is old and charming, everything is... More

Interesting menu. Well prepared and tasty. We were able to sit outside at a picnic table with our dog. Appreciated that! Wish we had the time to go back another night!
The past couple months the Inn has been under new management, much better (more timely) service and good food. Be sure not to miss and of the parties or bands. Usually on the weekend, and always a good time. Locals and visitor mash, for a very unique experience only found at a place like the Trout Lake Country Inn.
Lots of history in this area from early 1900's. Burgers, bar and sandwiches plus where locals gather. Meal was very good, just don't be expecting 'fast food' !
