So disappointed with the Pacific Grill. Had many recommendations to try it and it was beside the hotel. It's a nice atmosphere, but the food is awful. They do not "allow" substitutions. So you can't switch for gluten free options. So I had a side of spagetti squash which had big chucks of the outside skin throughout the squash. $10... More

Pam, Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns (on multiple sites). I did have the chance to speak with our GM about your visit. We do allow substitutions on many of our dishes. Some dishes we do not. It is my understanding that you were attempting to make a major modification of a dish, on a busy... More

Great assortment of HH appetizers and the beer assortment is always good. Delicious desserts! This is great for after work or anytime you want casual dining with your drinks.

We've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had an opportunity this week. The service was excellent and the food was top notch. We started off with an Old Fashioned off their cocktail menu, which was perfectly made. We shared the wedge chop salad, which was very good, although a bit too much dressing for my... More

My coworker and I had a great dinner here after a conference. I especially enjoyed the risotto, to which I added the sea scallops. Now, only two scallops came with the dish for an additional $10, so I did not find that part very generous. However, the risotto itself was a goodly proportion, rich, and very tasty. The sea food... Have had a few meals here in the past few months and enjoyed the experience each time. Try to catch the half off all food items in the bar, recommend the fish and chips, we will be going back.

Had a great lunch here, on my way to Portland. Good food, good ingredients, good flavors. A Tacoma surprise.

Being a value shopper, I've only ever eaten at Pacific Grill for lunch or for happy hour, and everything I've eaten has been great - tasty, interesting and consistently of a high caliber. Through the last 10 years, the menu has changed a number of times (with changing palettes and the desires/interests of the chef) and each time I've worried... More

This is a beautiful place. The service was perfect - not too intrusive, but more than attentive enough. The food was great. The portions are very generous, so it is fortunate that the entrees are available in small plates. The desserts are absolutely amazing. It's a little on the pricey side, but not outrageously so. We were first time visitors... More

A very nice restaurant with nice atmosphere. During New Year's Eve day they had a special menu, which was actually very limited. However, the selections were very nice. Three of the four of us had their Surf & Turf and they absolutely loved their steak. Kept commenting about the tenderness of it the entire time. I had the Prawns &... More

This is probably the hardest review I have written because I loved so many things at this restaurant but other things turned me way off. First of all the decor was lovely. Beautiful and very unusual art. It's in a cool historical building as well, I liked that. It's relatively small and intimate, a plus. The menu was interesting, I... More
