Corner beef hash terrible! Who would put tomatoes in corned beef hash? Hash browns...ugh...soggy..white..not cooked! Sausage links..afraid to eat them...not browned and soggy! Home fries? Really...not browned..no onions or peppers in them...just little undercooked squares of potatoes! If you want a good Bloody Mary ok...just don't order an overpriced..undercooked...terrible breakfast!

The Hob Nob used to be owned by two women and the food was fabulous - homemade soup, the works. Then several years ago they sold it to someone who owns several other restaurants in the area, he folded it into his chain and everything went downhill. It went from being a wonderful, personable home cooking spot to just another... More

The Hob Nob is too tough, too blue-collar, and too crunchy-good to succumb to the tsunami-like gentrification of Tacoma. All I can say is, "Thank God!" Any atheists are welcome to thank the random interaction of subatomic particles. Tacoma has always been a working-class town, home to logging, ship-building, a smelter, and other, gritty, polluting industries that we now export... More

We first ate here several years ago and found it to be acceptable. I've waited a week to post this as I wanted to allow some time to pass so that I could give a fair review. The staff was pleasant, our group of five was seated in a timely manner. Then it all went downhill--I found myself facing a... More

The food has gone downhill...hot turkey sandwich..yuk! Turkey dried out..served on French bread that was old and should have been used for French toast...skimpy gravy...tasted like leftovers that were left over too long. The prices are up...the food has gone down...way down!

A charming diner with a great variety of tasty food, nice service and a cheerful, warm atmosphere. I have loved the Hob Nob for years! Highly recommended.

Be careful . This place might be o.k. during lunch but dinner and later stay away or have someone accompany you to and from your vehicle .

After a great past with wonderful food, we went for a late breakfast and was disappointed with the quality. The fresh fruit was at least three days old, the hash-browns were soggy. We use to drive out of our way to go here but with the last experience I will have to find a new place for a great breakfast.... More

Great breakfast, I had crab benedict. This place has been there for some time and I'm sure has some cool history. You'll have to park on the street, but that wasn't a problem on a week day. I'd recommend this place to anyone and it is even better if you can catch up with an old friend while you are... More
