Stopped in here for a lunch with two friends. We each had a delicious lunch, the sandwiches and salads were fresh and well balanced. It's a small cafe--think quaint, not crowded--with very friendly service and a happy atmosphere.

We frequently eat here in Tacoma. The sandwiches and salads are very good. And their daily soup selection is often wonderful. They also have a lovely wine selection.

We discovered the Rosewood a few years ago and make frequent treks to this quaint little cafe. The food quality is always good and the service is (almost always) fantastic. It's a friendly place with a modest menu (mostly sandwiches and salads), affordable prices, and tasty desserts. It's small so you might have to wait a few minutes for a... More

A great neighborhood place, with excellent service and food. In a quiet location, surrounded by beautiful homes just east of the Proctor District, it's a pleasant place to enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner. The sandwiches are always interesting, and the caesar salad with salmon is excellent. Large piece of fish, and cooked to a moist medium rare to preserve... More

I've lived 4 blocks from the Rosewood for five years. My wife and I decided to try it, and now I wish we would have visited earlier. Portions are reasonable, enough to fill, not enough to have leftovers. The menu is simple and the dished are executed well.

When we first entered the Rosewood ––years ago shortly after it opened –– we encountered an indifferent waitstaff and a manager with the social skills of Jabba the Hutt. Even though the place was almost empty, they refused to put two tables together for our larger party. We responded with a boycott (and a girlcott, too! Take that!) We returned... More

I went with my husband. The food was not good. The beer was served warm. the coffee was not fresh. The dressing for my salad was putrid (Asian chicken salad). My husband's macaroni had more milk than cheese and no flavor.

We went on a sunny late lunchtime and enjoyed their pasta and bread and lemonade. The flowers were in bloom - the sky blue - the food was wonderful and the staff helpful and attentive. Just what lunchtime should be.

My husband and I had driven by here previously, saw the crowds and vowed to try it out. We tried it for dinner and were very happy. I had the smoked bacon mac and cheese which was perfect (and Im not a big mac and cheese person!). He had the curry eggplant pot pie which he enjoyed as well. We... More
