What a nice find in funky south Tacoma. Good food made simply with fresh ingredients - remember that ? Skip the chips n salsa game & save your appetite for the enchiladas - they even include 4 oz of carne asada on the side. So big even the rice n beans were on their own plate. I left full &... More

It is not fancy, but that is good. The food is solid and delicious. I like certain Mexican dishes that are seldom served in the chain restaurants. I found them here, and they were very well prepared. My only concern is that this popular neighborhood restaurant will be discovered by more people who like authentic Mexican food without the chips... More

Went there with the family (2 Adults, 4 Kids) and had a great meal at a reasonable price. I can't say what authentic actually is because I've never lived in Mexico, but the kitchen was busy cooking fresh food for a packed restaurant that came to our table hot and very tasty. The portions were big enough that the kids... More

I have been coming to this little hole in the wall for about 14 years now, not so long compared to most. I've lived in Texas and San Diego where the Mexican food is pretty darn good. This restaurant has incredible fajitas, rice and beans, tortillas, both kinds, burritos and tacos. The prices are really good without making a large... More

This little hole in the wall is the real deal.... I had three shredded pork tacos and they were amazing the best pork I have ever had. The guy next to me had a shrimp cocktail and a smothered burreto they both looked fantastic. I can't wait to go back I try some more items. If your in Tacoma and... More

After reading the glowing reviews for this place, we had high hopes for a good lunch. The tables were full when we walked in and the wait staff seemed to be familiar with most of the patrons (always a good sign). However, we were very disappointed with the food. The highly-recommended ceviche was awful. It had very little flavor, and... More

We have visited here before, my wife had an entire fried fish, it was amazing. I am not as courageous and had a shredded pork burrito. I have had hundreds if not thousands of burritos and this is special. The pork is shredded and crispy, just delicious. It is a clean very friendly place, it puts you at home immediately,... More
