Hole in the wall, no chips and salsa GO ANYWAY. Excellent Mexican food. First time we went we left. Now it's our favorite. My friend sent us when we got there I said what mex rest doesn't have chips and salsa. She said a REAL one.

After reading the glowing reviews for this place, we had high hopes for a good lunch. The tables were full when we walked in and the wait staff seemed to be familiar with most of the patrons (always a good sign). However, we were very disappointed with the food. The highly-recommended ceviche was awful. It had very little flavor, and... More

We have visited here before, my wife had an entire fried fish, it was amazing. I am not as courageous and had a shredded pork burrito. I have had hundreds if not thousands of burritos and this is special. The pork is shredded and crispy, just delicious. It is a clean very friendly place, it puts you at home immediately,... More

Came based on other trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was homemade and excellent. Great flavors and a very good value. We will come back!!

Ate dinner here with family who live nearby at their suggestion. The place is a non-descript building, didn't have A/C and was a bit run-down, but all that aside, this was by far the best Mexican meal I've had in years. The Margarita was made with fresh limes and was not too sweet and at $4.50 was a real bargain.... More

Food is fresh and plentiful. Ordered two tacos: beef cheeks and carnitas Both stuffed with meat and only $2.50 each! Had no room left to try anything else, but would love to come back again and work my way through the menu.

Every time we go here, we have nothing but the best food and service! Try the arroz con pollo or just a big burrito! :) you will not regret it!!! Take friends and family! Also have great margaritas!! Still a family friendly place though.. :) if Fortas are your thing, they are also delicious!

Very good authentic Mexican food ... it's not that westernized Mexican food sold at other so-called authentic Mexican restaurants, like Azteca, El Toro, Chevy's, etc.. And yes, like all local eating establishments in Mexico, there are no chips and salsa here ... chip & Salsa is strictly an American thing. The service is okay ... it can get a bit... More

This is the best Mexican food west of the Cascades. Today I had the three enchiladas combo. Muy bueno. Great mole. Generous helping of guacamole. Plus rice, beans and a fried steak or slab of chicken on the side. The plate was heavy with food - at least two meals and a sandwich there. Their tamales are very good, too.... More

And I heard this in Yakima, Washington, where they have some exceptional Mexican restaurants! Authentic, hand-made on the spot, flavorful, unique. In a tiny stip mall, you'll miss it if you blink....but that would be a big mistake.
