Fun place to eat an drink!

The walk from the hotel was splendid. I loved the art-filled neighborhood and the cool urban environment. The food was great and the wine too!

A somewhat different experience from the norm. A bit off the beaten path, in an alley in Tacoma. No cocktails (wine, I think I remember) but the dishes offered are very good and filling. Nice choice if one is going to the Pantages or somewhere else in Tacoma. It has stairs here and there. A bit tricky for older or... More

We walked in at 11:00 on a week day and was asked if we had reservations. No. The server seemed perplexed at where to seat us although there was only one other couple in the place. Once seated, we asked about recommended meals and specials. We chose two of their highly recommended sandwiches. It took nearly 25 minutes to get... More

We have tried Over the Moon twice, and both times were disappointed. When I first entered, I liked the full of the place. It is intimate, small seating and has an elegant feel to it. It felt great for date night. We had fairly long waits for the food, let alone waiting to order, and without a bottle of wine to... More

Wonderful atmosphere. Great food! A++++ Our group of 4 had the grilled cheese, lobster mac & cheese, lobster bisque, & duck. I promise you will not be disappointed. Reservations recommended.

I had lunch here with a friend from Tacoma. He clearly knew where to go. This restaurant is small, so he made reservations and the place filled up around us. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm. The staff was great - nice and attentive. The food was delicious and healthy. I had salmon chowder and zucchini lasagna for lunch.... More

We all agreed that, for the price, this was a surprisingly unmemorable restaurant. The salads were OK, but the entrees were boring, as was the wine by the glass. I wouldn't go back.

I've had many lunches here and it's always a treat. The food, no matter what I've chosen, has been fabulous. The wine list is carefully picked and unlike most places, affordable. The restaurant is cozy and lovely. Lunches with girlfriends, dinner with a loved one, this place works for all occasions.

Brought my wife here for a nice romantic evening. In the theatre district of Tacoma, the restaurant is perfectly married with its location. Service on point, knowledgeable with wines, and food well executed.

Quaint atmosphere, delicious food - all tucked away in a turn-of-the (20th) century building which still features original brick walls. I've gone for both lunch and dinner, and especially enjoyed the Crab Cake appetizer and Crab Bisque starters. The Salmon in Bourbon sauce is indescribably delicious, and I also loved the flat iron steak I had on a previous visit.... More
