Disgusting

We read the awesome reviews on trip advisor and were excited to try this place out. We showed up for a late lunch, around 2pm while in town visiting my parents. They seemed a little annoyed, I guess they close lunch around 3? We promised to be in and out. The food was really bland and cold, but... read more

What a gem this cafe is! The setting is so unique and comfortable and the food is great. Had a lovely Valentine's day dinner here.

We had a very pleasant lunch at this charming cafe. The staff was nice and the atmosphere sweet. However, the good was only OK. Sandwich was greasy and over grilled. Side salad was a basic lump of potato salad. Soup was nice. Very odd that they charge extra to have a piece of bread with your soup.

Cozy, comfortable, good food and service at a reasonable price. The modest street frontage could be a challenge to find if you have not been here before. Within easy walking distance to theaters (recommend reservations if you plan on attending a show after dinner) and shops. Appropriate for a casual meal or date night. The menu provides tempting offerings of... More

Our theater group eats dinner here before walking to the Pantages. The food is top notch and the servers are very friendly. I love the crab bisque followed by the flatiron steak.

The restaurant is tucked into an interesting squish of buildings and you might pass it by if you don't know where you're going. Inside is cute and cozy. We were there on Valentines day and they were booked but the waitress, after giving us an eye roll for not making reservations, offered us 50 minutes for our lunch. We accepted.... More

Our newly transplanted to Tacoma friends made a reservation a month a head of time for a special table for our party of 6. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not able (do to a snafu) to accommodate that request. So that set a sour tone to the evening. Food wise there was a mixed reaction: 4 good, 1 ok and 1... More

Best in Tacoma. Its the kind of restaurant you (selfishly) don't want to tell anyone else about...but then its too good not to share! Delicious "home cooked" food, comfortable setting, great service and all at a reasonable price. Do yourself a favor. Get a reservation.

Want charm? Comfy chairs? Atmosphere? Delicious wine and food? That perfect date where you and yours feel like you're in France? This is the place! Absolutely amazing on all accounts. Make sure and try the dessert!

We went here as a party of 4 for a New Year's Eve dinner. One member of our party had some food allergies and the chef was willing and easily able to accommodate her needs. All four entrees were delicious, the wine list was extensive, the service was great. I will be coming back again and again. Be sure to... More
