Very unique

This was a very unique experience. The staff were very attentive and the food was enjoyable however, it was a bit pricey. You are paying more for the presentation. We went with a group and it was fun but I would like to go back as just a couple and not the one paying for more than just two.

You need to be a fondue fan to appreciate this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was expensive and not all interesting plus the service was dreadful the evening I was there.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant. The staff is always incredibly nice and the food is amazing! I have so much fun watching them prepare the fondue. I always get the Big Night Out which includes a salad, cheese fondue, bouillon, and dessert fondue. You get tons of meet and vegetable options to try with lots of sauces and... More

Went to the Melting Pot Tacoma and it is just like other Melting Pots. Food was very good, service not bad, wine incredibly overpriced.

His is really your only option unless you want to cook it yourself. I've been there multiple times and I will say that the staff is great. Alas if your in the bar plan on waiting because there are generally only two weevers and a bartender who do everything. The bar tender has to cover drinks for the entire restaurant... More

So, Melting Pot, your desert dipping is fun and good, but I didn't care for the dipping of the dinner. It reminds me a form of eating I experienced at a Japanese restaurant. The concept is neat but I couldn't get much flavor from the meats I was dipping. I will admit that I lean towards spicy and bold tastes,... More

We had a small corner booth that felt private and cozy. Our waiter, Michael, was friendly, helpful and never too far away. Enjoyed our food, especially the chocolate at the end. The bartender made me a special espresso martini that was the best I have had!

We sat in the bar as apparently you need reservations. No problem. The highlight was excellent service. Waiter told us all our options. We ordered the cheddar and spinach & artichoke. Both had way too much going on. Very strong flavors. Ended with some milk chocolate. Also pretty strong. So it was mid range. Had decent happy hour pricing though.... More

First thing first is make a reservation; seems to help not to wait and just be seated. They have a way to do this online with a follow up phone call a day or two before to confirm. The waiter was very informative for us being first timers! And the food and the fondue choices were a great variety. Only... More

I'm old enough to be from a generation that was forced to fondue, and we did. Everyone who got married XX years ago ended up with at least three burnt-orange or avocado-green fondue sets to master the Swiss cooking style. There wasn't a cheese, cooking oil/broth, or chocolate that was safe from my wife and me for a year or... More
