Great View of Tacoma

We celebrated my birthday here for an early Sunday dinner. I was pleased that we were able to order from the special early seating menu for about $26/person. We each ordered different entrees but all had the soup of the day and burnt cream for dessert. My husband also ordered raw clams. The... read more

Came here for our anniversary and we were completely satisfied. Made reservations a few weeks in advance, was able to get a great little table for two next to the window and off to itself a little. As we enjoyed the night falling on downtown Tacoma, our food did not disappoint. She ordered the Prime Rib with Salmon and I... More

My friends and I go to Stanley's for all of our special occasions - and some not special occasions. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is electric, and the staff is so kind. Despite being busy, the restaurant still maintains a decent volume. I don't like my restaurants too loud. Their menu is varied and everything I've had tastes amazing.... More

We came here for a beat the Valentine Day crowd. Worked out perfect. Came for the Early Bird dining which was an appetizer, entree & dessert for $25.95. We ordered the FRESH MUSSELS CIOPPINO, made with Tomato-wine broth, fresh basil, garlic, French bread for an appetizer. Then tried the Leek & Sausage soup and we both thought it was delicious.... For a great view and wonderful atmosphere --- this Happy Hour is really "Happy". The bar has a great energy and the prices make the food and drinks taste even better. The prices are a bit steep -- but the quality is very high, so I Think it's a good deal.

Your eating seafood looking out over the hills of Tacoma and looking at Mt Ranier. Very good food and great service.

For special occasions or to show Tacoma off to friends this is a good place to try. The food is good, but honestly for the price I was expecting higher quality. But for an occasion and to enjoy the view it is worth it. We have always had great service.

This is a fabulous restaraunt known for seafood and prime rib dinners. I ordered the salmon which was phenominal and my friends ordered the prime rib. Their prime ribs were fantastic and I could see why it was their signature feature. The views of Tacoma will blow you ahead and a great place for a special event.

I was not impressed with $35 appetizer. A few steak tips some shrimp with mashed potatoes and shrimp dip I did not eat. I did not order a meal after sampling the appetizer. I am glad I waited. I looked forward to going there because of everything I had heard. I won't go back.

Stanley's has a reputation of being one of a few premier resturants in Tacoma, and the view is quite nice, but they have some serious service issues. Visited for business with a group and really should have gone somewhere else. When issues were raised to the manager she offered no apology and no solution, I have never experience this level...
