Breakfast?

Who knew that they were now doing a breakfast here? I didn't and neither did many people, the place was almost empty on Sunday. This made me a little concerned about the food but was surprised. The view of the river at night was fantastic! I ordered the blackened ribeye w asparagus and iceberg lettuce wedge. My usual. The steak came w fried onions that I didn't ask for -- same goes for the lobster mac & cheese. I only wanted asparagus. Nice friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Loved the location. Check it out.

Stanley & Seaforts has been a landmark perched on the east hill of Tacoma ever since I can remember. It's architecture reminds me of an old English tudor mansion. The interior, while there are the rich, warm colors of dark wood accents, it is anything but pretentious or stuffy. I like that you can see the grill and saute cooks.... More

The atmosphere is very friendly and the views are marvelous. Food is exceptional but portion sizes are a little small. Service is always great.

Great view of downtown Tacoma. Friendly staff & inviting atmosphere. Table ordered Bleu cheese crusted New York strip, Prime rib (house specialty ), and their Salmon offering. New York was poorly executed, Bleu cheese was overpowering - no crust - lacked flavor. Prime rib was underwhelming for price. Salmon was nicely done with right amount of heat and thinly crisped... I have been to Stanley and Seaforts Restaurant a number of times over the last decade. Decided to have dinner there and was surprised at how dated the restaurant is. It has a tremendous view but you feel like your part of a Dragnet sitcom. As for the food, the prime rib was cooked to perfection but the price was... More

I've been to Stanley & Seafort's a few times, but they have changed in the last year. I'm a beer guy and I enjoy a nice beer with my prime rib. I think it's a beautiful pairing. The last time there, we got up and left because of the beer availability. Additionally, their prices have gone up. While the view... More

First visited this restaurant in August of 2006 while on our honeymoon inWashington State, ambiance was fantastic, food was excellent and staff was terrific. Wonderful that it still has all those same qualities 9 years later.

Stopped by to just have an adult beverage and ended up ordering food off of the bar menu. Drinks were good. Mussels, plenty of them, coconut prawns good, served with a chile sauce with a nice little bite. Sat outside on the patio. Very nice view. Service a little slow but no big deal. We weren't in any hurry. Staff... More

My husband and I came here for our 33rd Anniversary dinner! Atmosphere was great, service was great and food was DELICIOUS! Excellent view of the City. Everything, from the appetizers to the dinner was exceptional. We had the artichoke and crab dip and coconut prawns appetizer, then steak and lobster and steak and prawns! Our steaks were cooked to perfection!!!!... More
