Knowledgable Staff

It was our first time at the new location and it is a great improvement! The bar and dining area are lovely and they also have a separate room for groups. We had a tough time choosing our entrees, so we peppered our server with many questions. He was knowledgable and took the time to guide us. We... read more

We went at a time they are not normally open - a Mother's Day lunch. Normal operating hours begin at 4 PM. It was a very good meal, a little noisy but the windows were opened and that seemed to help. It was nice to have the fresh air. Expect to pay in the neighborhood of 25 to 35 dollars... More

Much better than the old Il Primo. More focused simpler but interesting menu. The staff was well informed about the menu and able to answer most questions. It was a quiet evening. Service was attentive and food well prepared and came in a reasonable time. Nice to see them sourcing locally and supporting sustainable food. We will return I hope... More

Went here just Fri evening and sat by the grill. I had a pasta dish that had asparagus in it. The bottoms of the asparagus were tough and hard. The pasta sauce had a very nice flavor, but by the time I got it, it was lukewarm. The person I went to dinner with was served her meal over 5... More

We love farm-to-table and sustainable food establishments. The ambiance is made perfect with the garage doors and the open layout. The food menu was just ok. We didn't find anything we just had to try. The Moroccan martini was awesome- lemon mint mojioto type drink. The beer selection was dismal. I would love to see farm to table beers, like... More

The best part about the Primo Grill is the art work! The woman who served us drinks at the bar all but snarled when I enquired about happy hour drinks. She flung a menu across the bar at us, convincing me not to even consider eating there. I'd been taken to the restaurant by the artist responsible for the art... More

Recently returned to Primo Grill for the first time since their move. Was not disappointed. The new space is bright and comfortable, the service was as good as ever, the cocktails were tasty, and, while the menu seemed smaller, the food was excellent. Both my friend and I had the smoked salmon pasta with asparagus and lemon cream sauce -... More

My evening at Primo Grill actually began with me heading to a different restaurant; however, en route, I came across Primo and figured I'd give the place a shot. OMG! I'm SOOO VERY glad that I did! I stumbled across one of THE BEST dining experiences I have EVER had! So, here's how it went down: 1. Appetizer - Steamed... More

Since they have moved from their old location they have improved their menu as well as the ambience. If you go don't miss their lamb chops! Amazing, amazing, amazing. Charlie McMahon's outdone himself.

We went to the new Primo for a Happy Hour type nosh. It was not their finest showing (I hope). If I wanted a burned piece of flatbread with some wilted green stuff on it, I would have gotten one of those horrid frozen "pizzas" from Trader Joe's and broiled it to death myself. This was not the type of... More
