Pass the Spaghetti but Pass on the Steak

We've been here before, and the food is always good. Most of us had some sort of pasta--spaghetti, lasagna, etc.--and I had extra meatballs and sausage. My brother, however, ordered the "house steak," which had so much fat and gristle that he couldn't eat it. Nevertheless, the rest of the food... read more

Home style Italian food served w great gusto! Private rooms are small and not noise proof but the Convivial owner makes up for any flaws

This is a very special place. Family run, the owner will often come to your table and thank you for being there. The staff must love this place because everyone from the table bus staff to the cooks , waiters and everyone have a positive attitude. The foods are reasonably priced. I got steak and pasta for around $20 ish.... More

Very disappointed! Just had regular pasta with marinara sauce. Not enough sauce, so the pasta was dry. Only one breadstick came with our meal and that was with the salad. The salad was not fresh and was only lettuce with grated carrots. No extra cheese was offered with the spaghetti. Waited forever for the check, and what a shock! $21... More

Let's say you're a large family group with hearty appetites and none of you care too much about quality, taste or freshness. Then this is your restaurant. Big portions of "food", good service and decent prices all make up Joe Stortini's restaurant. Beyond that there's not a lot that's actually Italian here and there's thousands of restaurants just like this... More

We split an order of the Seafood Fettucini in the bar near the fireplace on a blustry weeknight & were thrilled with the complex tastes of fresh shrimp, cream, white wine, garlic, fresh scallops, & olive oil that all seemed to compliment each other nicely. Plus the quantity on the plate was just right for an average eater - even... More

My family and I pretty much stumbled into Joeseppi's after a day at the zoo. Had I known it existed we would have been regular customers before. Now I can say I go back every chanceI get and we make it a family outing after the zoo. The food was great, and the service was fabulous. I am not flourishing... More

My wife and I prefer to post good comments but the sheer failure of this restaurant has me taking the time on my vacation to hope you don't make the same mistake we just did. After waiting ten minutes to be seated without so much as a hello from the staff we sat for 30 minutes waiting for our breadsticks,... More

I just returned from a pleasant meal with my wife and daughter at Joeseppi’s, and everything about the experience was great. We were greeted, seated and served drinks all within the first two minutes inside the door. Our order was taken promptly and our soup and salad arrived shortly afterward. The Gorgonzola sauce on my wife’s salad was exceptionally good.... More

Always good food, large portions, usually always take half home. Joe's meat sauce is the bomb. The breadsticks are not so great, a little dry. Joe, the owner comes around to visit all the people dining. we usually eat in the bar area and Joe's granddaughter is just a great server. Service is excellent. Restaurant is located in a strip...
