The food was terrific. I had the Zigeuner Schnitzel with cucumber and German potato salad, of course there was a German Pilsner that I could not pronounce too. The atmosphere was calm for this lunch and I really enjoyed everything about it. The wait staff was attentive and very helpful with the food selection. I will be back for sure.

I have been wanting to stop here for a long time, and now that I have I am grateful I did. The service was friendly, fast and helpful, they gave us newbies great suggestions. I had "Gypsy" schnitzel with cucumber salad & potato dumplings, I was surprised at how small the portions looked, but I was stuffed...and I can eat!!!!... More

I went to this place with my boyfriend. He never heard of the place or had schnitzel before. I was dying to go to this place since I moved to the area. I got the "Gypsy" schnitzel with cucumber salad & potato dumplings. OH MY GOD!!!! It was out of this world! Everyone was super friendly & it wasn't packed... More

Warning, this place is small and gets packed. Arrived on Saturday night at 5:15 without reservations, told it was 30 minute wait, and we were seated close to that. Mostly standing while waiting, only two chairs. There were several large parties that night. Those that came at 5:30 without reservations had over an hour wait. Yeah, it is that good.... More

I was stationed in southern Germany many years ago, and came to love the local food in small no-frills restaurants throughout the region. Bruno's comes as close to replicating that as any place I've been in the States. Schnitzel, spatzel, sausages, goulash soup, red cabbage, sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage, and so on.....all really yummy. If you want to get a feel... More

Had heard about Bruno's on DDD. Service was very good, food was okay, pierogi was good, meat loaf was very bland and have had much better black Forrest cake. The hangover soup and roll was very good. Might go back next time we are in the area.

Have eaten at Bruno's several times, my mother-in-law is German and likes to go there. The food is good, I recently had the Schnitzel, it comes with your choice of soup (I had the Goulash and it is GREAT), roll, small salad (I had the cucumber, again it was GREAT) but if you have a larger appetite, it may not... The café is featured on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives which is what brought us here. The waitress, who I learned was from a place in Bavaria which I was familiar with, greeted us with a smile, made numerous suggestions, and guided us based on our tastes and questions. We had a wonderful meal (Jaeger Schnitzel, Knodel, and a side... More

Excellent German food & impeccable service......even enjoyed meeting the shy chef/owner & his wife Christina. Wonderful, entertaining German/Polish people that enjoy what they do & appreciate their customers in every way.
