Now you don't have to drive to Leavenworth!

Bruno's is in a tiny spot tucked into the armpit of a freeway onramp in Tacoma, next to a "gentleman's club" but well worth the trip! Their Jäger Schnitzel with hunter's gravy, red cabbage and spatzle is a big portion - but I ate every bite anyway! Fabulous! My friend, raised on her polish... read more

Bruno's is the place to go if you're looking for authentic German Food in the Tacoma area. The staff is friendly, the service is great, and the food is just like grandma used to make! YUM!

My mother asked that we celebrate her 86th birthday at Bruno's and she was happy to see many of the dishes she was served as a child on the menu. The staff was friendly, the wine and beer selection was very nice, and the menu included a nice combination of German and Polish dishes as well as some hamburger selections... More

We eat here often and their food is consistently very good. We usually eat lunch and drive from Olympia to do so. Understand you should make reservations especially on weekends. Very good service. Highly recommend.

Yes they lost my reservation for 8-10 people on a busy Saturday, yes we had to wait an hour - BUT - All and I mean All was made up by the amazing food cooked by Bruno. My group of ten tried almost everything on the menu - and not one person wasn't completely satisfied by their meal. I had... More

We were there for a late lunch. I had the plate with polish sausage. My daughter tried the pork schnitzel . The food was great and the service was excellent. I tried the hangover soup, it was really good .

Let me preface this with 3 items. 1) My Grandfather was Swiss-German and a chef. 2) I just returned from a week in Germany. 3) The waitress was wonderful. My wife and I stopped at Bruno's on the evening of our anniversary; looking forward to Bavarian cooking. She ordered the Jaegerschnitzel, cucumber salad, and spaetzle. I ordered the sauerbraten, spaetzle,... More

Wonderful service. Small and quaint with delightful menu choices. From the schnitzel to the red cabbage , the food is authentic and takes you back to Europe. The only bit of missing info on the menu is that soft drinks come to you in the can, not from the fountain. Excellent selection of beers and desserts. Don't miss this hidden... More

I saw this place featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and wanted to go. It's in kind of a non-descript industrial area in South Tacoma, but if you like good Central European food, this is the place to go. My wife's parents are from Poland, and we both like home-style food from there. The staff are super-friendly and the food... More
