Dinner Stop Turned into a Night Full of Fun!

My friends and I were visiting our friend from Tacoma last Saturday and she brought us here for dinner. We showed up at the perfect time because everyone started filing in after us. Our server was very quick-witted, funny and good at her job. We got our food in a timely manner and it was very... read more

Wow, this place was great! We stopped here after spending the day in Seattle and then heading to Tacoma. The food was tasty and the staff was super friendly. Oh and the beer on tap was equally as good! If you're looking for a great place to eat that is local, eat here!

We travel to Tacoma several times a year and The Swiss is always on our list of must visits locations. We love the location close to the downtown waterfront area and we love that it is in an old building with so much character. I don't think I have ever had anything on the menu that disappointed me, but the... More

Great food. Great service (thanks Randi for the Porter recommendation)! Best black bean burger ever. Tons of flavor. Spudnicks are a must. Great seasoning and dip! Excellent quality pub food.

Nice neighbourhood bar and grill, the menu was a bit limited, but the food was good and good value. Good range of local, national and international beers.I went with five others, the service was quick, despite one barman who seemed to be doing most of the work. We plan to go again, for a team night out. More an adult's bar... More

I stopped for lunch and had the "Nooner", the soup, salad, roll combo. I choose the chili and was I glad I did. It is a sausage and beer chili made with Manny's Pale ale. It wasn't too spicy and had the best flavor of any chili I have had in a long time. They have 30 beers on tap... More

To give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt, we came in as the Tacoma City Marathon was finishing. It took forever for the food to come. When it did, they brought out two plates, but took forever for the third. By the time it got to the table, the fries were cold. I had the brats and potato salad.... More

Fantastic clam chowder. Service was very quick. Lots to look at once inside as the walls are decorated with everything from skate boards to accordions. ...yes the instrument I am not kidding! Definitely would go back.

We enjoyed a beer and some brauts. They were well cooked great flavor. Potato salad was fabulous! The service was great, staff was friendly. Neat atmospheres, it's an old firehouse. Good vibe, will return. No live band playing but it is a large place that would be cool to catch a band at.

Great beer selection. Fun games, pool, shuffle board, ski ball, etc. Friendly staff. It is very large, so they can pack in a crowd, but a fun place to go.
