Great local pub

I stopped for lunch and had the "Nooner", the soup, salad, roll combo. I choose the chili and was I glad I did. It is a sausage and beer chili made with Manny's Pale ale. It wasn't too spicy and had the best flavor of any chili I have had in a long time. They have 30 beers on tap... read more

To give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt, we came in as the Tacoma City Marathon was finishing. It took forever for the food to come. When it did, they brought out two plates, but took forever for the third. By the time it got to the table, the fries were cold. I had the brats and potato salad.... More

Fantastic clam chowder. Service was very quick. Lots to look at once inside as the walls are decorated with everything from skate boards to accordions. ...yes the instrument I am not kidding! Definitely would go back.

We enjoyed a beer and some brauts. They were well cooked great flavor. Potato salad was fabulous! The service was great, staff was friendly. Neat atmospheres, it's an old firehouse. Good vibe, will return. No live band playing but it is a large place that would be cool to catch a band at.

Great beer selection. Fun games, pool, shuffle board, ski ball, etc. Friendly staff. It is very large, so they can pack in a crowd, but a fun place to go.

Good Food, Great Happy Hour 4-6. Great Location. Josh, the owners son, made a special effort to great. After eating do not miss the stroll down the steps to the Glass Bridge.

Excellent Food and very friendly service. This was a business lunch so didn't take advantage of the various selections of beers. I really liked the atmosphere and character of this restaurant.

What a find . . . Good pub grub, & located at the top of the UWT steps downtown, 2 blocks uphill from the main drag on Pacific Ave. This is the evening centre of UWT & downtown most weekends, including regular bands & special events,

I enjoyed that I could get in out of the cold and have reasonably priced food and drink in a great atmosphere, It was warm and inviting there. I have gone and will go back to try several delicious sounding dishes.
