Something special about this place

Returning from a trip one Sunday, we had cravings for some hot pho. Our usual spots were closed, so we decided to take a drive up 38th St. Thank you baby Jesus! Pho Dragon lured us in with its cozy atmosphere. They put a spell on us. This is some seriously good comfort food. We've been back... read more

I wanted to like the restaurant and I should have had Pho because everyone seemed to love it. Alas, I ordered Phad Thai because it is my favorite. I was served rice noodles with ketchup and hot sauce. There were no green onions, there was no egg, there was no fish sauce or white rice vinegar. the consistency was all... More

I'm addicted to this place. I eat here as often as I can sometimes 4-5 times a week! They make this dish called Mi Quang and it is the best! I've never had it at any Vietnamese restaurant except this place. OMG I highly recommend you try this dish as well as their Bun Rieu. The portion size is great... More

Pleased to see items that aren't on every pho menu: Bun Bo Hue (spicy delicious) and Bun Rieu (tasty, delicious, made with crab paste). All other diners were Vietnamese when we had lunch here. This Vietnamese neighborhood has a SE Asian small-town feel. Family-run restaurants serving simple fare, shops selling dishes and kitchen ware, grocery stores....all with Vietnamese & English... The place had a good vibe , BUT the food isn't all that authentic. The food looked good just by sight , but it didn't really taste as good as it looks !

Lots of food. Pretty good! The staff were really helpful. My friend had been feeling ill and they made ginger tea for her to settle her stomach.

Decided to visit after reading the reviews. I ordered the spicy pork bahn mi. Excelkent. Meat was just right and French bread was very nice. This place is NOT like the usual dingy greasy pho pkaces in Tacoma.

I've been traveling to the Pacific Northwest for several years, and am a big fan of Pho and Vietnamese restaurants in general. I've eaten at a lot of them, but I've finally found my favorite- Pho Dragon on 38th in the Lincoln District of Tacoma. It was recently reviewed as part of a general article about restaurants in the area... More
