Great food, large portions, every thing else, meh

The first 3 times we ate we did carryout. Warned about the long wait we wanted to try the food and with a hungry 4 year old in a cramped space it was a great option except the time they lost our order and my husband still had to wait. There's not much room to wait and you're constantly dodging... read more

I've been here twice. I'll place both reviews here. I had heard wonderful things about this place from all my friends! That alone was worth coming for! We parked in the back and walked to the door. In front of it was a HUGE puddle. I had to jump to reach the entrance and still missed. Not a good start.... More

My husband wanted to try the buttered biscuit for his birthday lunch. We are seated and given our utensils and glass of water. I right away notice my fork and glass is extremely dirty, i ask for clean when brought back to me the glass (mason jar) was still dirty to which it was explained that their dishwasher was not... I had lunch with some friends from work, all of which had very different palates. They had an extensive gluten-free menu and plenty of vegetarian options, but I didn't see anything on the menu that was labeled as "Lighter Fare," or low calorie. I had the Greek Salad, which was absolutely delicious, and seemed to be prepared very "clean," or... More

What a pleasant surprise hidden away behind the main street shopping area of downtown Sumner WA. Great service, HUGE portions, and great food. Not a fan of the decor...but you can't have everything! You simply MUST have a piece of their cornbread with honey butter...it is the best anywhere!

Bonney Lake Buttered Biscuit opened a few weeks ago but people find good food and this restaurant is no exception. Their menu includes several pages of unusual options and despite having a full house, service was excellent and the food was well prepared and delicious. We are light eaters so neither of us could finish our food but still enjoyed... More

The prices are decent but the place is never really that clean, you can see the neglect around the building and feel the stickiness on the tables. But if you don't mind them messing up your order and taking forever to check on you or to take your order then it's a yummy place.

I have been a fan of Buttered Biscuit since they started in Buckley. When they moved to Sumner, I thought the service went down and the food was either amazing! or lackluster....just ok. Today I took my mom and niece to The Buttered Biscuit in Bonney Lake and was SO disappointed. Prices were higher than I thought it would be.... More

Atmosphere was nice Place was clean and people were upbeat. Prices are higher than I am into but portions are huge so sharing is a great option. Tell them you are splitting the meal as they do it for you A plus for me Don't care for someone handing me a plate to do it myself. Appreciate that the do... More

We came in and had a wonderful lunch - there was so much food everyone walked out with to go enough for a second meal. The cost 52.00 for 3 meals which ended up 6 meals. Great food -- homey atmosphere.
