Pricey Breakfasts

We had a leisurely breakfast at the Buttered Biscuit. The breakfast was served in large portions unfinishable by mere mortals. Breakfast for two hovering at around $40 maked the experience a bit pricey.

Went there this morning with my young adult daughter. This is a popular spot in Sumner. You may need to circle the spot a couple of times for parking but once you're in the service is swift and the wait staff is very attentive. I ordered the plain Jane-two eggs, jojos, and cornbread. The cornbread came with a sugared coating... More

Went in here for breakfast today, The portions are huge. It is kinda pricey, but I don't mind it for the amount of food you get. The corn bread is awesome that they bring right out, hot and buttery. Was kinda worried with the amount of cars in the parking lot, figured it would be a bit of a wait... More

I have attempted to eat here numerous occasions without fail. The first few times I turned the other way because it's very popular and therefore there's always a wait on the weekends for breakfast. I tried yet again with family to explore and finally taste the famous food that everyone raves about but yet again...nothing. We waited, were seated. We... More

Have been here many times, it's like a visit to Grandmas house! Food is excellent! Portions are HUGE! Cinnamon rolls are as big as your head! Perfect for families. Expect to wait on Saturday or Sunday for breakfast. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served all day. Prices are reasonable, and there is usually a Groupon available.

Our family has been coming here for years! We love the cornbread and sweet creamed butter. I've ordered many things throughout the years and have never been disappointed. Served is great and friendly. This is a must go!

We went on New Years day. Glad they were open. I ordered the S.O.S. It was OK but nothing special. The gravy was made with hamburger and the potatoes were well made. My husband got the train wreck and said it was delicious. Our friends also loved their meals. The cornbread was delicious. Even with a packed restaurant the wait... More

Having heard good things about this restaurant, I was excited to give it a try. I went to breakfast with my mother and sister. The interior of this restaurant is nothing special. A few booths and tables, pretty basic. The restaurant is based on your "grandmother's cooking." We all had the "Little chicken fried steak". We were served cornbread to... More

Another great place to enjoy a Sunday Brunch. Delicious food and great customer service. Always busy so come early and hungry. Any food on the menu is tasteful and filling.

If that's even a complaint. We had to search a little, it is hidden but well worth the hunt. Huge portions of home cookin'. I had the Morgan burger , yum. Hubby had chicken fried steak. He is picky about breading and gravy and he ate til he was stuffed, even so we brought about half home. The one recommendation... More
