Dined with a group of friends. The service was attentive without being obtrusive and all of us agreed the food was outstanding. I had the Pot Roast dinner which was served over baked potato, with a marvelous side of the house specialty salad and a large chunk of corn bread topped with honey butter. The pot roast was done to... More

Visited on a Saturday morning around 9:00am. Had heard great reviews from family & friends. The wait for a table was only 5-10 mins. We were seated upstairs in a nook area. Our waitress came right away for our drink order. Once we ordered our food we waited about an hour when the waitress came over to us and said... More

We were seated right away but service was terrible! Sat at table for half an hour before wait staff took drink order. Sat another half hour before they would take food order. When food arrived 50 minutes later ALL of the food was cold; eggs, bacon, bread, everything! Will not go back.

Had Birthday Party upstairs. There were only six adults and two kids. Water-Bad, Coffee-Worse. Salad-Forgot Dressing. Bathroom-No TP and food smashed into floor. Building is very old and very Musty. Chicken Fried Steak-large portion and gravy was tasty. Corn Bread was very sweet and tasted great. I really wanted it to be a place we would want to go back... More

We went there a couple days ago to check the place out. The food was good & the service was good too. Its a family restaurant with good home cooking. Nothing fancy.

Waiting 20 mins outside on Sunday morning was just fine. Seated on a booth. Waited some time for water. Served in mason jar; cute. Tasted like iodine. Unpalatable. Menu came. Well, it was dropped off with no mention of specials that were on a board by the door. Again, quite some time for coffee, but she did take our orders.... More

We have dined at the BB only three times (so far), always at breakfast/brunch time. There is a good reason why there's always a line waiting outside for a table, although the wait rarely exceeds twenty minutes or so, and is very well worth it. We have had a variety of items, including the pancakes (very light, with a hint... More

It was time to try the Buttered Biscuit for a meal other than breakfast, so we went down on a weeknight and got there around 5:30pm. We were seated right away, and the waitress brought us all three menus(breakfast lunch and dinner). We took about 10minutes to figure out what we wanted and ended up ordering off the lunch menu.... If I don't bring home extra cornbread, I'm usually in big trouble. It is a large piece of homemade cornbread, topped with a crunchy sugar coating and butter. It's amazing! Breakfast and lunch portions are very large and stick-to-your-ribs type of meals. The Reuben for lunch is a must try, but remember to use your knife and fork. Haven't had... More
