On our third visit to Sumner we finally made it to the Buttered Biscuit for breakfast. On a Wednesday morning at 7 am, we were able to walk in and be seated immediately. They have a very extensive breakfast menu. The prices appear to be steep until you see the size of the meal when it comes out. I never... More

My wife, son and I dined here on a Sunday morning. We were seated after a 20-minute wait, during which we noticed virtually every departing patron was carrying a "to go" container. Our meals were chicken strips, fries and a side of (very good, but expensive) bacon ($4.95 for four thick slices), an omelet, and the chicken fried steak w/... More

After waiting for at least a half dozen tables to be cleared for new customers, the service was eventually slow and massive food portions of average quality. This place is definitely not for anyone who cares about their health or diet! There was NOTHING healthy on that menu but delicious coffee.

Waited 45 mins to sit(told it would be 20) and ordered and soon as we sat down. Waited over 45 mins for food... Sent all food back, 10 orders, because everything going was cold and under cooked. Not one thing was edible. Second round of food was just as bad, if not worse. Finally asked to just microwave it so... More

The coffee cup was never empty, the menu was very diverse, and had a lot of interesting twists on some of the traditional favorites. The old stand by was excellent with scrambled eggs mixed with ham, bacon, sausage, cheese, onions and green peppers.

Went to Seattle and stayed in Sumner to save money. Used yelp to find a.breakfast place. This place is just behind the downtown. The menu is about $10+ for standard item selections and awesome biscuit combos. The portions are huge though. Many took breakfast leftovers home.. Main complaint is that although we saw at least six servers and kitchen staff... More

This restaurant's claim to fame is their truly HUGE portions. You'll find yourself waiting in a long line on any given weekend or holiday. We "followed" this restaurant from their original location in Buckley, WA. to their current location but finally gave up on them after so many disappointments. The restaurant is constantly out of items, desserts are served disappointingly... More

Started with a unwiped, sticky table. Water and coffee served with no silverware to stir the coffee. Forks and knives, but no spoons Breakfast served, asked for more butter and jam...took time to get it. Spoons never arrived. Bill was presented, taken back, and then we got another table's bill to sign! Waiter apologized. not a positive first time visit.... More
