BEERy nice on a cold winter afternoon

Ordered the beer cheese soup with beer bread. Happened to dine during happy hour and got a bowl instead of a cup. Flavor was great and filled me up. Staff were very nice and warm. Atmosphere was interesting...appears to be a soup/salad/sandwich shop by day and bar by evening. Would return for... read more

This was actually recommended to me by someone from Walla Walla who confessed they had lunch and then a dinner here because it was so good. I had an excellent bowl of artichoke chicken soup with spinach and carrots. It came with a piece of their super tasty beer bread (a tastier version of soda bread). I believe there were... More

I love soup, and I was so excited when I found out they were catering a meeting I was attending. But the three soups they brought were mediocre. The beer bread made up for it, though. I could live on that stuff.

Please come down to our place soon! We are happy to provide samples of any of our soups before committing to a bowl. We are certain you'll find at least one that will make you smile. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Keep in mind that we offer beer bread by the loaf and it makes the... More

The soups are really good but I find that I am hungry an hour or two after I eat here. Maybe not enough protein.

Come down for a bowl of Spicy Mac & Cheese any Friday or perhaps Chicken Artichoke! You will leave with a full belly for certain. More

The soups change daily and you can't go wrong with any of them. On the day I had lunch, I ordered the artichoke soup which was very good. I was tempted by the selection of salads and sandwiches, but opted to stick with just the beer bread - always a good choice. If you are looking for a grain choice... More

The staff is amazing and they love to make suggestions for soup and drinks. I had the Moroccan lentil which was fantastic and my girlfriend had the tomato basil which is also awesome. The beer bread is pure inspired. .. probably the best bread I've ever eaten. All told amazing and to top it off the price is as low... More

I was undecided, you place your order at the counter. I tried four different soup samples and I know I could have tried them all. The beer bread and beer cheese soup were wonderful. On Monday evenings all booze is 1/2 price. They have a full bar. Small and cozy, great service.

Had lunch here with my daughter. There were about 5 soups to choose from and you could have samples. There are also salads and sandwiches to add. The soups were good, not over the top. We also added two sandwiches which were nothing special, actually kind of dry. Would not order them again. Didn't get any salads but the ones... More

First of all the atmosphere was perfect. I love small intimate restaurants. Although someone tried to come in with a stroller while we were there and it was pretty tight (lots of bumping into things). Located close to Riverfront park which was nice. Staff was amazing! Extremely friendly and helpful (especially for a first-timer). They let me sample a few... More

Check out the ample delicious portions of fresh made soups and bread. Best beer cheese soup I've had and others in the group also raved about the mushroom, tomato basil and broccoli cheddar selections too. Nice pared with a Stella Artois. http://www.soulfulsoupsspokane.com
