It's hard to tell which is better here, the food or the service, since they are both incredible! Definitely a true diner experience but even better because it's in an old train car! The bar style seating gives it a great interactive experience with the cook and server. The omelette I had was so good as well as the sour... More

Every time we are in Spokane we have breakfast at Knight's Diner. The diner is in an old rail car and the atmosphere is terrific! The food is standard but prepared in an excellent way. You can smell home made pies being baked in the back room. I have never had the opportunity to eat lunch there but the breakfasts... More

We had breakfast at this sparkling-clean, picturesque, friendly diner, which I do believe is an authentic railroad car. Food was piping hot and delicious; service was quick and very friendly. Because it's all stools along a counter, you can watch your food being cooked! (but I'm not sure how well this set-up would work for babies or toddlers). Vicki, the... More

Staff were very talkative and entertaining as well as good servers. Ordered the mini breakfast and an omelette. The dollar sized pancakes were very thin. Photos were encouraged. It was nice to see a real diner still in operation.

My fiance and I went during lunch time. The stools are right up to the counter, so close that a larger person would not have been able to sit there. And, although I have short legs, my knees were pressed to the partition beneath the counter. The owner and staff were quite friendly and it was amusing to listen to... More

This is my first visit to knights, and I must say if you are in spokane you should not leave without visiting this place. The place is usually crowded... (for obvious reasons) but vicki and her crew do an amazing job..... highly recommended

The hashbrowns with gravy are particularly delicious. It can get a bit crowded but, to me, thats part of the experience. This place is a local favorite. Try their homemade sweet mustard on a german sausage or anything with huckleberries.

I eat out for Breakfast once a week and like to try different venues. Here at Knight's, there were about 4 guests besides myself. At Frank's I always sit at the counter to watch and talk to the Chef. Here, the Chef was involved in a conversation with a co-worker and never said a word to me. I felt invisible.... More

Knight's is a great place to get breakfast any morning. Friendly cooks and the train car seating makes the dining experience loads of fun. Be warned not to take groups larger than 4 because of the bar-style seating.

What a super train diner and what an AWESOME breakfast and lunch! Visiting Spokane, my husband and I were lost trying to find an entrance to I-90, when we came upon this restaurant and just had to stop because we love trains, and anything to do with trains. Knight's diner is a Northern Pacific 1906 all-wood railroad passenger car. It... More
