Frank's Diner downtown is worth the wait, that is if you aren't an early riser on the weekends and show up after 0830 on a Saturday or Sunday and there is a large line. Expansive menu, friendly staff, and a great rail car building. I've only ordered from their breakfast menu but everything I've had has been well prepared. One... More

If you are looking for gourmet food don't go here. If you are looking for well made, hot, good old down home food this is the place to go. I usually don't order eggs bennie from anywhere because more often than not I have been sadly disappointed. The hollandaise sauce is usually just tepid and therefore quite glutinous, the eggs... I always have a hard time deciding what to get at Frank's because it is ALL so good! I highly recommend taking your family to this unique restaurant in a a refurbished train car.

Whenever I am in the Spokane area, I always make it a point to have breakfast here. It is the best breakfast in town and loads of fun for train buffs.

Great people and great value for the price. We love the breakfasts. The coffee is hot and delicious and they keep your cup full. They are attentive to families and couples. Never a bad experience. Enjoy!

Frank's Diner is a must visit in Spokane. It is in an old train car which makes it quite narrow and very quaint and cozy.

You'll never be disappointed at Frank's. Every order is done perfectly and right in front of you, literally, if you sit at the bar. The unique atmosphere and great food make this a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. If you have to wait, the food is worth. I try to get to Frank's every visit I make to... More

Have not been to Franks in years so was unsure if they still had the best breakfast in town. Well, they may be better than I remember! We got there at 10 am on a Thursday and there were 8 people waiting. We got seats at the counter 10 minutes later and got to watch the cooks in action. Both... More

Nobody makes hash browns like Frank's. Heavenly. If you go on the weekend go VERY early because most of Spokane goes then!

My boyfriend's brother is in a nearby hospital. Needed to eat sonething other than hospital food. Had a craving for mashed potatoes and gravy. Saw the diner. Super nice. Service was very good. Coffee refills were plentiful but it wasn't very hot. I had the turkey dinner. It was good, the serving size was more than generous, but it wasn't... More
