Very cool decor and I loved to read about the history of the train car that most of the restaurant is built around. Portion sizes are generous for breakfast. Come hungry!

To start, this is an authentic diner, i.e., in an old railroad car, not just a café calling itself a diner. Makes for a great novelty especially for kids. Great meeting place for adults as well since it is friendly but not too noisy. Great breakfast place! Good food, reasonably priced, large portions.

First time at Franks was absolutely amazing! There was a short wait, but they have a heated deck with complimentary coffee available, which I thought was a great touch. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was to die for! The toast, hash browns, bacon, and particularly the Silver Dollar Pancakes were divine! This restaurant is a definite... More

Unique dining experience in an old rail car. Our food came quickly and was big portions. My omelette had nice big chunks of ham, onions & peppers. The biscuit was excellent.

This is a fascinating place to eat. The dining room is a railroad car from the 1800's. The original wood work inside the car is awesome and fun to look at. Space is a little tight, but that adds to the atmosphere. The cuisine is Classic American Diner. The food was good. The service was very good and the entire... More

Took family to Frank's for a birthday brunch. They are always busy but always friendly. We waited outside in the gazebo, pleasantly surprised to find space heaters and hot coffee while we waited. Food was great (best hash browns and gravy & biscuits!). Service was prompt, and very accommodating of the small kids in our group.

A little tight on space but ambiance is charming. Food is excellent. Burgers were juicy and full of flavor. A nice dude of hash browns with onions was a great accompaniment. The chicken and waffles was excellent even if the chicken was a little dry. The caramel sauce made up for that nicely. Service was attentive and friendly. Prices are... More

My husband and I went to eat there a few times and it was ok. The atmosphere was nostalgic - train diner car - and quaint. On the other hand, the quality of the food was average - greasy and just ok. We had breakfast one time and a sandwich the other time. The breakfast was about the best food... More
