Best breakfast and entertaining

We went there for breakfast on a Monday. A bit of a wait to get in and we were seated at the counter right across from the cooks and grills. It is a converted train car, so you might imagine that it is a little tight. The two cooks worked in unison with very little talking and lots of panache.... read more

This place is average at best. The restaurant is very small and crowded. I ordered biscuts and gravey with eggs, the gravey had little flavor and the eggs were cold.

We spent a week in Spokane. This was one of the restaurants on my list to try. We liked it so much we had breakfast there every day. The food and service were fabulous. This eatery is set in an old train car and there is seating at the counter or one of the 10 booths. There is also seating... More

Franks is always very busy and the food is really good. Not the best diner food I have ever had but very good. The biscuits and gravy are a must try. Service at the restaurant has always been good for us.

Great atmosphere - The restaurant is in a beautifully restored train car with gorgeous woodwork and stained glass. Wonderful staff - Very friendly and welcoming and courteous. Delicious food and the best bacon in town!

The reason to go to Franks is for breakfast. Its good, hearty food. It does tend to get busy, and when it does, so does the quality. Get there early and you will be rewarded with a great meal.

Franks diner is one of two in Spokane. This is the one on the south side of the city and the other dining car is at the north side. An old renovated railroad car with as much originality as possible. The exterior is historic and the parking lot and gazebo are clean without a speck of garbage. Hold onto that... More

Chose to go to Franks Diner for brunch/lunch after church on Sunday because we knew they have great breakfasts. My eggs and hashbrowns were on the cold side, and my husbands corn beef hash was undercooked. He sent his back to be redone. The waitress was so awesome, we gave her a big tip. My chicken fried steak was great... More

Food was very good for a diner. I recommend the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. The waitress was exceptionally nice. Was a fun place to eat.
