I've been to both Frank's locations several times but usually around lunchtime. On this visit to the 2nd Avenue location, I met a work associate actually at opening time, 6:00 a.m. There were only about half a dozen others there at opening, most of whom seemed to be regulars known by the server. Most appeared to be business people but... More

Second time we have been to Frank's for breakfast and was just as good this time. Can always expect a wait which is fine with us, it is worth the wait. We sat at the counter which was "cozy" Service was excellent and food delicious. I had an omelette with the option of a smaller portion which I had and... More

My husband and I ate here only once. We had passed this place many times and were curious. There were some good reviews. They sat us at a small table. There was so much on the table that there was hardly room to eat. Then people kept coming by our table. We felt squished with hardly any room to move... More

Recently had breakfast at Frank's after not having been there in at least a year. OMG! Still the best gut buster breakfast in Spokane. The Eggs Benedict are excellent, better than at some very expensive restaurants here & in much larger cities. AND they come with crispy hash browns that you can ask to have accompanied by sautéed onions &... More

What's not to love about sitting at the counter in an old railroad car watching the cooks go at it feeding the patrons? The free coffee on the patio while we waited was a nice touch and the wait wasn't all that long. Good stick to your ribs diner cooking. Yumm

We will definitely be back! The service was outstanding!!!!! Food was prepared quickly and with high quality. No wonder you keep winning the awards for best breakfast every year.

If you like different this is the place to go. It's a small rail car and it can be hard to get a seat. It's worth the wait because the food is great!

Visited because I heard such rave reviews. They have two locations. Definitely sit at the counter if you can, very fun to watch the cooks. Pancakes were delicious! Wide variety of omelettes and waffles as well.

Ok, so I may be a little sentimental about this place. My dad used to bring us here before he died when traveling through Spokane. Now I bring my family here so we can carry on the tradition. A historical railcar for a diner? How could you not love it! I love to see the enjoyment on my kids faces... More

"Best Breakfast in Spokane" I do not think so! I will admit that it is fun to sit in an old railroad car and feel like you have stepped back in time. That is the only positive for me. We ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict and the Country Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce and white gravy had no flavor and... More
