I've had sandwiches all over the country and even the world and there is nothing to compare to Domini. I've been going there every time I return to Spokane for over 30 years now. Tom runs the place just like his dad did back in the day, but the real appeal is the sandwiches themselves of course. If TA allowed... More

The meat and cheese I. The sandwich was good, but that's ALL the sandwiches are! But the are $10 or so with only those ingredients and mayo/ mustard and no veggies to spice it up. Doesnt that seem like a ripoff to anyone else? Sure does to me. It's beyond me how people can like the sandwiches so much considering... More

I started going to this delightful family-owned place back in the late 60's when Al Domini ran the place and knew everyone's names. The smell of fresh popcorn is a powerful memory of the place. I've since moved away from Spokane, but when I visit, this is a must do place. I always bring back sandwiches for the folks at... More

I can definitely recommed the sandwiches here, and the service is supper friendly. Like other reviewers have said, the sandwiches are HUGE. A small sandwich was more than enough for a hungry guy. I was traveling to Spokane from the east coast and I can confirm that this competes with good NYC Deli's. My only suggestion would be for them... More

Simple is the word that comes to mind at domini's. The food is out of this world and everyone there treats you like family whether it is your first visit or your a regular. The meat is roasted right there at the restaurant. The bread is home made and very fresh. They don't offer a lot of extras but when... More

Domini's was recommended by one of my employees while I was in Spokane. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. I ordered a "small" Pastrami with Swiss and Pepper Jack on Sourdough bread. First off, a "small" sandwich here is the size of a large sandwich anywhere else. It was literally stuffed with fresh, sliced Pastrami and the two... More

On a business trip and we decided on local 'dive' food. No frills sandwich shop. They cut their bread by hand. A noon they were out of clam chowder and rye bread ( thus 4 stars). Had a roast beef sandwich. Thick, fresh, wonderful. No fountain soda is a problem. Can of diet coke cost an arm and leg. That... More

If your idea of a sandwich is 1 meat and 1 cheese on puffy bread, then this is your place. Their "hook" is a bowl of popcorn on the table. We were lucky to find a parking meter right outside the shop in downtown Spokane, and saw the signboard for tuna sandwich special lunch. Pretty simple, but there was no... More

This place is one of the best sandwich shops out there. You can get fresh roasted roast beef, if you come in before noon you can usually get medium rare or rare roast beef on your sandwich! Anywhere else in town they just buy it but here they are actually roasting it, love this. They make in house spicy and... More
