This is the second Ethiopian place i have eaten this past year. I really love the atmosphere of the Flour Mill. The food was fantastic!! We brought friends who had never eaten without utensils. They loved it! Out favorite was Tibs W'et and it was great! I cant wait to bring the kids there. My only complaint was there was... More

Perhaps we ordered wrong thing. But the lamb with tumeric and onion in small bowl with spongy teff-barley pancakes seemed overpriced. No utensils other than serving spoon. Supposed to put drippy butter lamb chunks in pancake to eat...and the grease ends up all over your hand. Finally server returned and requested a fork. No veggie side or salad. First experience... I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant. The food was all mush, and they did not give us plates or utensils. Very awkward. Then adding insult to injury, even though we had made reservations and the restaurant was far from busy, they sat us is the hall where we had no privacy at all. Terrible. I will never go there... Wow, so glad we stumbled upon this cozy little restaurant in the Old Flour Mill! We came in expecting to buy cheese at a next door shop, but the enticing aromas drew us in to investigate. Be prepared to have not only a delicious culinary array of menu options, including beef, chicken, lamb, and vegetarian, but also a fun dining... More

Queen of Sheba serves great traditional Ethiopian cuisine. You find no eating utensils on the table since everything is eaten by hand. So if you don't want to gross the rest of your party out you should make sure your nails and hands are clean...as well as the rest of you group. The lamb dishes are fantastic. It is a... More

I love this little place. The food is great and you feel like you've been invited into the owner's home. My husband and I have done the coffee ceremony a few times and she goes through the whole roasting, grinding and brewing process right in front of you. She invites you into the cultural experience with a smile and makes... More

The owner is you server, and she will not hesitate to share her story if you ask, or teach you of the customs. I have had the meat and veggie sampler. Sometime with the right person I will ask for the coffee service - a custom of theirs as well. You eat with your fingers, in Ethiopia often you feed... More

This place is great for the family. We tend to go here every couple of months. We always start off with an appetizer. We had the Chicken Sambussa. It only comes with 4 so if your with a large group order a few of these plates. Every time we come here we always order the Meat combination plate. It runs... More

The food was fantastic and the experience great! We had the lentils and the lamb - both spiced just right - not too hot, not too bland. The lamb was so tender it just melted in my mouth. wish I could have tried the entire menu - I guess we'll need to leave something for next time. For those who... More
