Had dinner at the Onion on Saturday night after a long day of volleyball. We were a group of 6 adults and 5 17-18 year olds. There were already 3 large groups in the restaurant when we arrived and were told it would be at least 20-30 minutes before they could take our order. We were ok with that and... More

Four of us visited this restaurant over Christmas. All of our drinking glasses had lumps of food stuck to the outside. We asked the waitress to tell the manager but he never appeared. When our cutlery arrived this was filthy too. When we asked to see the manageress she told us she was sorry and that she was going to... More

Great selection, great quality of ingredients. The fish and chips were very good, the Philly Cheese Steak my friend said was really good, looked so good I was suffering from food envy! My other friend had the French Dip that was also tasty. Service was good.

LOVED this place! Visited the Onion in October 2013 on a 3 day stay in Spokane. Walked here from our hotel. We all ordered burger's and they were cooked exactly as ordered! This is very rare! The service was great, food tasted great and the beer was cold - wide variety to choose from. Couldn't ask for more! We will... More

The Fish and Chips are good here. The Service is amazing... however don't go during a sporting event, You would not find a seat in house. They are a bar friendly atmosphere. Food is good even on to go service!

Great family friendly restaurant that specializes in American cuisine ie. burgers etc. Heres a tip: Order the deep fried Oreo's for desert they are not lisited on the menu and they are served with chocolate syrup and whipped cream.

The Onion is in a historic building and has a hammered metal ceiling and a bar with pretty woodwork. It's primarily a bar and grill vs a fancy restaurant. We're not really the drinking type (OK, we're cheap), so we ordered ice tea and a coke and "Thelma" ordered a club sandwich while I ordered a Thai wrap with pea... More

I recently traveled alone to Spokane for business. A few other restaurants within the same block had no one there. This one have many filled tables so I went in. The friendly waitress recommended a refreshing drink with cucumber vodka. The halibut was also good using local vegetables of yellow and purple beets on the plate along with a pea... More
