There were many choices on the menu but the waitress we had was too pushy and not willing to offer much time we had to tell her to come back at least 3 times because she was too persistant. Same with ordering drinks - no time to peruse the menu. Then, towards end of meal she was no where to... More

I really like this restaurant for its charming decor and great location when I visit Spokane. On both occasions that we have dined the food, service and atmosphere has been very good. Extensive (although somewhat typical) menu so there is something for everyone. Many of the dishes had 2 portion sizes which I liked. Portions are generous so my husband... More

We went here with my 80 year old dad, 18 and 16 year old daughters and 11 year old niece and everyone was pleased with their food. It was quick and friendly service and the food was awesome. The portions were great and the price even better. A must eat if you are visiting SPOKANE.

Attended a group dinner with my wife's tennis team. They seated us in the back room. The waitress was extremely accommodating. The food was very good. I had the apple salad and the onion soup. Really enjoyed the meal.

Friendly place that is easy to find, as first time visitor they bring you small sweet onion rings, they are GREAT! We ordered some mustard for them because being from the South we do not normally put tarter sauce on our 'rings, but we tried their sauce and it was GREAT as well. The Alaskan Salmon was cooked perfectly with... More

This restaurant had a decline in quality after a change in ownership or management, but it has bounced back. Diverse menu and great drinks. Great hamburgers and onion rings. Worth a try.

Nothinh fancy -- you want great food and a cold beer at a decent price in downtown Spokane? Then this is worth the stop. Not too many people for a Sunday at 2:30, but not a dissappointment as well.

Being University of Wisconsin alums we thought "The Onion" was a comic newspaper. This restaurant was not a joke. Decor is good and the food was excellent. We asked the motel manager for a recommendation and without hesitation he said the Onion. We are glad we asked. The Spicy Seared Sticky Prawns were well prepared and very tasty. The top... More
