This is a local's place and has been around forever. It reminds me of the Cheers bar.

Very friendly and they got us right in. The menu is huge. Famous for their French onion soup. We had philly cheese steak and Chicken burger, portions are very big. It's not fine dining and it's super fattening, but it was good and the service was superb.

Just my kind of place...like a Sports bar but not overdone...friendly staff that offered suggestions (like deep fried OREO'S)...nice bar and comfortable atmosphere...they served a good peppery sauce with many dishes and it was very tasty but not too hot. Will go back again!

I had hoped for a better tasting Monte Cristo sandwich, as this one was really greasy. My Friend had a hamburger and he advised his food was good. The restaurant was clean and the service good, but the prices were a bit high for what you get. If I return, I will try the hamburger next time.

The Onion Bar and Grill is certainly not fine dining but it is a beautifully historic space and the service was good to great on our two visits on a recent family trip. The onion rings and fried zucchini were excellent (two different visits) and the burgers/sandwiches were good both times (and you have an option on the burgers to... More

This was a family friendly pub atmosphere. Service was good, and the menu had some good choices. Food was average, including the hyped onion rings (although the onions were very sweet!). I did love the option to order small or large orders of most items, which is a plus. An okay place for a lunch bite, but was really nothing... More

Took my family here this evening for a birthday dinner. I should have known better. It used to be almost impossible to get a table without a wait. Tonight, there weren't 5 tables occupied. The service was ok, but the food is so disappointing. The only meal that was hot was the dish they had to re-do because they overcooked... More

This place reminds you of a old time saloon. The staff is very laid back but courteous. I loved their onion rings and fish. Didn't realize until this trip that they have gluten free choices. Always love to pop into this establishment when in town.

We've eaten there several times. Food is fresh and well prepared. Prices are fair. Service has always been friendly and attentive. They have a good gluten free selection but the menu does not show all your choices.

Best sweet potato fries ever. Excellent salad, awesome burger, great beer list, the waitress Melissa was fantastic, knowledgable about the menu and gave us spot-on advice.
