Hidden gem in Spokane

I have been here twice now with a friend of mine and have enjoyed it both times. The food was very good for the price and I found the restaurant itself to be cute in a divish sort of way. The service has been good and the most recent time I was there, my friend and I ordered a single... read more

So I've been here a few times the portion sizes are great my kids love the gyro and the baklava is top notch. In the morning they have a buffet if that is all you can eat the prices are really good for the food you received. I will be returning and I would recommend to anyone looking for a... More

Reasonable price, large portioned gyro dinner was a very satisfying meal! Lentil soup was uniquely flavored and very tasty. Can't decide if it was All-Spice or Cloves, but either way, it was good. Couldn't finish my dinner plate which included enough lettuce and tomato for a small side salad. Beer was a little warm, but that was the only detraction... More

Azar's may not look like much as it occupies an old fast food dive in...but don't let that fool you. The staff is friendly, the food is very good, and the portions won't leave you hungry. I eaten here for both lunch and dinner and both are equally good.

I went with friends for a school project to experience a little bit of a different culture. What I got was an amazing buffet experience full of all of the best foods. Of course there was stuff to make gyros, but the ride and the baked chicken was TO DIE FOR. I really hope to go back soon. The group... More

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday and did not know they are CLOSED ON SUNDAY'S but they heard that we were out of town and made us gyro ' s anyway. Above and beyond. We stopped because we have always thought they made the best gyros and also backlava. No change in that opinion now!

We have been waiting to have a great gyro since we left Chicago. Today, we both had the sandwich - mine with the yogurt/cucumber sauce and my husband had the french fries with his. Small place but great sandwiches.

Azars has been a favorite of ours for years. Great humus and falafel, and love the gyros. Prices are a touch higher than I would like.

The place feels cruddy. They treat it more like their home and you are almost intruding. There was a kid about 8 playing with toys at a table. The owner was sitting at a table doing business with a gentleman, purchasing jewelery, probably to sell somewhere else. The older son comes in with his work clothes on, grabs a plate... More

Went to Azars because of the online reviews, definitely not Greek. Salad dressing is cheap concentrated lemon juice, tzatziki is way far off from what it should taste like, meat tastes very un-meat like - strange odor, texture & taste. I love Greek food of any kind and this was very high priced drive through imitation junk food. We should... More
