We have been waiting to have a great gyro since we left Chicago. Today, we both had the sandwich - mine with the yogurt/cucumber sauce and my husband had the french fries with his. Small place but great sandwiches.

Azars has been a favorite of ours for years. Great humus and falafel, and love the gyros. Prices are a touch higher than I would like.

The place feels cruddy. They treat it more like their home and you are almost intruding. There was a kid about 8 playing with toys at a table. The owner was sitting at a table doing business with a gentleman, purchasing jewelery, probably to sell somewhere else. The older son comes in with his work clothes on, grabs a plate... More

Went to Azars because of the online reviews, definitely not Greek. Salad dressing is cheap concentrated lemon juice, tzatziki is way far off from what it should taste like, meat tastes very un-meat like - strange odor, texture & taste. I love Greek food of any kind and this was very high priced drive through imitation junk food. We should... More

We were greeted with a smile and told to choose our table. The service was fast and friendly. I started with the baba... it was fresh and absolutely outstanding!!! The spanicopita is amazing, bursting with flavor and delicious!!! The lentil soup is the best I've ever had!!! When I ordered the chicken curry, I knew this would be a true... More

The premises are nothing to write home about, but my vegetarian platter was quite good. The meal started with a cup of lentil soup which is probably one of the best lentil soups I've ever had. Quite tasty and satisfying. The vegetarian platter included hummus, baba, tahini sauce, falafel and pita bread. All were good, although I would have liked... More

In this broken-down old drive-in, real Eastern Med food lives. A little Lebanese, a lot Greek, and owned by a big Bosnian family, so there you have it. By big city standards, nothing special, but in Spokane it's good.

This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside. Same for the inside! But the gyro (TIP: go for the tahini sauce!) was excellent. The meat and the pita were both perfect. I also had the lentil soup, which is a solid thumbs up. I would give repeat business to Azar's.

I tried the cucumber sauce and the tomato sauce versions of the Gyro's. The tomato is all the way my favorite. Great flavor and highly addictive. I started with 1 my first time... then i had to buy them by the 3's because i would eat 2 and save 1 and the leftovers for later. I highly recommend this as... More
