Great fun,food and drink

My man and I love this place!, we always sit at the bar. we have great drinks and as a celiac they take okay care of me.. Brownies addition is a great historical area where you can walk about and see the great architecture of the area go to the MAC museum and have a great dinner or lunch.

Was in Spokane on business yesterday and read the reader's choices "for best of" in the area. The Elk was listed as the second best gastro pub in the area; so thought I would go. The Elk is in Browne's Addition part of Spokane which is an older neighborhood undergoing/has undergone an urban upgrade with young couples, etc. There are... More

Great building! This place has a great vibe. The menu is very comprehensive for a pub. I had a southwest-style chicken sandwich that was outrageously good. I chose a side of roasted corn pasta salad. The price was moderate for what I was served. I only wish they had a more extensive beer list.

Dear Elk Owners: In the words of Bob Marley, "Lively up yourself". Chips and salsa - really? How many years has that BBQ chicken quesadilla been on the menu? I know you have the talent because often the specials are creative, interesting and delicious. Swimming Angel and pork marinated tacos - love them! But being a hip pub in a... More

We had the best chicken and mushroom soup here. We came because it was on our triple D list, (Guy Fieri's show), and the place was packed with pregame (Gonzaga) basketball fans, and the bar was also packed. Our server was very friendly, and we ended up with the soup because it was the special soup of the day and... More

Sometimes one gets really hungry and heads for the nearest fast food joint. That's why planning ahead takes not much time but leads to real treats. Then one compiles a list of favorite places no matter where they end up. When in Spokane, Elk is on of those. Located in a neighborhood called "Brown's Division" it is easy to find,... More

It's all about that Reuben. I don't even like sauerkraut all that much, but that sandwich was so, so good. The lamb sandwich was also really good, but the Reuben is how this place makes it happen. The BBQ quesadilla with onion dip was great too. About 10 beers on tap with more bottled makes for a solid beer selection.... More

Our server was fantastic...so friendly and his food choices for us were right on. We had a varied selection of soups and salads, and the best porter beer!

Just okay I guess. Kinda run down. Attentive and capable staff. Was looking for homemade food as a DDD location and the server did admit that my meal was provided by a food service and it tasted like it. Parking was poor.

We visited Elk Public House for the first time this past Saturday. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, and the service was friendly. In fact, the servers made us feel like long time regulars. I had the Cajun ravioli with lobster cream sauce. It was superb! My wife had the bulgogi tacos with quick kimchi and enjoyed them thoroughly. The... More
