Yes, the Elk is as good as the reviews would lead you to believe. The Bloody Mary's are spicy and the beer / wine selection is excellent. The Ruben is well know but their specials are top notch.

Admittedly, it has been a year or better since we have visited the Elk and I don't know why. The food is always excellent. This trip consisted of 3 foodies (my wife and two daughters) and dear old dad. Between us we managed to devour a smash burger, 2 orders of Cajun raviolis, an bowl of gumbo and two bulgogi... More

I came her for lunch while visiting a buddy of mine who is a longtime Spokane restaurant (his paintings on display in the main dining area). This restaurant seemed like a very popular place, likely because the portions are good and the pricing is very reasonable. I ordered the chicken satay appetizer and the “Swimming Angel” entrée, which was a... More

There are a number of fine restaurants in the browns addition area. Good food, nice price, plenty of street parking though you need to be prepared to walk several blocks

I went with the reviews and had the Reuben with the Pasta Salad. It was definitely worth it. The place has a lot of character and a great atmosphere the a quaint neighborhood. I would go here again.

Close to downtown maybe under a mile from downtown river park, near several other small eateries, pub like atmosphere with some outside seating, daily pasta special was great and elk burger was good but being from Montana is was just average, good beer selection and friendly atmosphere. Would certainly visit again.

We decided to find some off the beaten path places to eat this trip. We absolutely loved the food. Hubby had the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich and it was so moist and juicy and was loaded with great flavors. I had the Cajun Ravioli in the Lobster Cream Sauce and it was so amazing, rich and full of flavor! We... More

We ate lunch on a recent visit to Spokane on the recommendation of someone from Spokane. The food was very good and atmosphere nice with a neighborhood kind of feel in the Brown Addition. We would definitely recommend it for anyone liking to try a good, local place to eat!
