Out of our way, best stop!

I lived in Spokane, for a year, and this became my favorite. They have the best Reuben and the corn pasta is excellent. We always make sure to stop for a bite anytime we drive through, which isn't often but always worth it!!!!

My husband and I originally saw this place on diners, drive ins, and dives. We went on a little get away to Spokane for a few days and decided to try it out. We had the Chicken Quesadilla with the smoked onion sauce and it was amazing!! The beer and bloody marys are great and the rest of our food... More

The food and microbrew selections are great. I've eaten at the Elk many times, and I've liked all of the food I've tasted. Service can be a bit spotty. Overall, a very cool restaurant with a great outdoor seating area in warm weather.

I've been here a couple times with coworkers. Great neighborhood bar atmosphere. Good beer selection. Menu has a good variety. I got the marinated pork tacos on my recent visit. I would get them again.

Took my wife and kids here this weekend as we were in town for a soccer game. I thought the place was cool and the food was very good. The corn pasta was the best thing I ate by far and made a mental note to put that on my menu when I open my soup and sandwich place. The... More

Was in Spokane on business yesterday and read the reader's choices "for best of" in the area. The Elk was listed as the second best gastro pub in the area; so thought I would go. The Elk is in Browne's Addition part of Spokane which is an older neighborhood undergoing/has undergone an urban upgrade with young couples, etc. There are... More

My man and I love this place!, we always sit at the bar. we have great drinks and as a celiac they take okay care of me.. Brownies addition is a great historical area where you can walk about and see the great architecture of the area go to the MAC museum and have a great dinner or lunch.

Great building! This place has a great vibe. The menu is very comprehensive for a pub. I had a southwest-style chicken sandwich that was outrageously good. I chose a side of roasted corn pasta salad. The price was moderate for what I was served. I only wish they had a more extensive beer list.

Dear Elk Owners: In the words of Bob Marley, "Lively up yourself". Chips and salsa - really? How many years has that BBQ chicken quesadilla been on the menu? I know you have the talent because often the specials are creative, interesting and delicious. Swimming Angel and pork marinated tacos - love them! But being a hip pub in a... More

We had the best chicken and mushroom soup here. We came because it was on our triple D list, (Guy Fieri's show), and the place was packed with pregame (Gonzaga) basketball fans, and the bar was also packed. Our server was very friendly, and we ended up with the soup because it was the special soup of the day and... More
