We come here every time we visit Spokane! We get very excited to go. I always order the same thing - grilled lamb sandwich. AWESOME! And we always get the chips and salsa appetizer. Their salsa is the best! The service has always been great and so is the atmosphere. I try to recommend this place to anyone going to... More

The Elk Public House, in Browne's Addition, has a fairly good reputation, and is certainly located in a picturesque neighborhood. They've been there several years. That could be a problem. I don't go there frequently, so it is easier to observe either declines in food or service, or that a place has begun trying to live off their reputation (as... More

Stopped in here on the way to Leavenworth. Had the special for the month the smashed burger. Melts in your mouth. It was so good we stopped for another one a few days later on the way home. Also tried the soup and lamb sandwich. Both good too. You do not get fries, only chips with the food. Makes a... More

While visiting Spokane we had lunch there o see if it was worth the star status accorded by D, D, and D. It was a great place for lunch. The atmosphere reminded me of a cross between a western saloon and college-crowd hangout. The signature ravioli with sausage, shrimp and lobster sauce was outstanding, although the french bread on the... More

Not only is Elk Fest a great time but the restaurant is delicious and offers food you don't get at other places. Great date night restaurant and the neighborhood is great for a after dinner walk.

We ate there two nights after getting the recommendation of our nearby B & B. There was no problem sharing our meals and both times they were generous servings on separate plates. One meal was sloppy Joes on cornbread with a quarter head of lettuce salad. The sloppy Joes were very different and a nice change in what we expected.... More

Great Monday night dinner with friends on the patio! Their Thai speciality Swimming Angel was fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted to be outside on a beautiful Spokane evening.

We were on a road trip and made Triple D's some of our stops. This place did not disappoint the chicken quesadilla was awesome. Also had the Sausage/Crab Ravioli which was incredible and the the Gumbo was quite spicy but good. Would highly recommend

We were a party of five on a Friday evening. We decided to try the Elk Public House after looking up places to eat via the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives web site. We were seated immediately - which was pretty amazing - and drinks were ordered. There is nothing fancy about this place, it is old, but it was clean.... More
