What a fun place to eat with your fingers!

We found this restaurant delightful. The food was very good, but you go here particularly for the experience and change of cultures. The Owner is Egyptian and really interesting to chat with. He makes you feel like family. The cook is Moroccan and does a great job. Want to have the best... read more

I will give kudos to the server, he was quite friendly and talkative. However, The food all tasted the same to me, and the soup was nowhere near good. The idea of family style eating is one thing, but when you are not given your own plate to put in front of you and are watching people who want to... More

We loved this place we had 2 five course meals with drinks for 48 bucks and food was delicious, flavorful , healthy and fresh. The owner served us and we had a great time.

Presumed owner was pleasant and accommodating. A Moroccan trait of hospitality. I visited on a Wednesday evening. Business was slow. I ordered the five course meal for $20. First, he brought over the traditional wash basin with warm water to wash your hands. This is because, unless you ask for silverware, you eat food with your hands. I've spent time... More

This place is great! I was amazed that so few people were eating there last Saturday night. Perhaps it has to do with the new location or the weather - but the service and the food were extraordinary. Mamdouh, the co-owner/operator makes guests feel like family, talking about anything from food to culture to football... or leaving people alone if... More

Food was really good. Atmosphere was great! Having been to Marrakesh and spent a lot of time there, I had some expectations that weren't met, but... it was very good and nice to experience it in our little town. I would visit again. Two adults with tax came to about $45 for a 5 course meal, left full, but small... More

This was my first experience with middle eastern style food. It was a very good experience, a 5 course meal for about 20 dolLars was worth it. The decor and atmosphere was very nice. The waitress took her time to explain the menu and food choices. The chicken was excellent, moist and had a good flavor. The belly dancer added... More

The atmosphere was nice. However, I can understand why it wasn't crowded. I thought the food for the price of $20 was high. Yes, you do receive several courses, yet those courses are small. The food was slightly greasy and nothing out of the ordinary. This is simply my opinion. Many others have liked it and gone back. Not worth it... More

It was a delight to find this Moroccan dining experience in Spokane of all places. Don't expect a fancy place, but do expect tasty authentic Moroccan food and friendly service. There is a set five course meal. You get to pick the main course chicken, lamb, or even vegetarian. Everything is good. You sit on cushions, like in Morocco. When... More

Having lived abroad in the middle east for the past 5 years, I was skeptical to go to this restaurant with a couple of friends. I expected the traditional kebab, shwarma in and out and cheap restaurant design, I was pleasantly surprised. Marrakesh holds the authentic feel of not just a traditional morrocan restaurant but of the mystique and beauty... More
