I lived in the Middle East and have had wonderful Indian food . This place serves food that is similar to what ate there. One can eat their buffet and get a sampling of their quality food or order their meals individually. It all taste so good.

This was my first time dining at an Indian restaurant and I will most certainly go back! The ambiance was lovely, our server was friendly, fast & efficient. My husband knows Indian food and he was impressed with our meal. We both had lamb, we shared and appetizer and two of the desserts. It was all fabulous! I especially liked... More

We've been coming to Taste of India for years from Missoula which is devoid of any Indian restaurant. It's quite sad we don't have one, but it makes coming to Spokane for Indian a real treat. There is t a dish they do poorly here and sauces are creamy, flavorful and delicious. Their naan breads are to die for -... More

They have all of the regular dishes that most Americans are familiar with, but also have now gotten a cook who does South Indian food like Masala Dosa! Chicken Korma to die for. This food is super delicious and very consistent. If you like white meat, you have to ask for it on most chicken dishes. Chai is good when... More

A Taste of India serves average indian food. The Naan bread was more like a flat japatti and tasted old. The Tandoori chicken tasted re-heated and the sauce dishes were too watery. All of this in a fast food felling dining room.

Three of us stopped in to try the food. We had the lunch buffet which was somewhat on the steep side. There were a variety of dishes to choose from including some chutneys etc. I didn't particularly care for the food, have had much better elsewhere in the Seattle area. The naan was undercooked, the yoghurt sauce was quite spicy,... More

loved the food, price was great and as I left cashier gave some great information on Indian cuisine. I will be back when in Spokane. I told my son how good it was and he also would like to try..We can't wait to return!

Response to "turn and run" comment: The food here is average. Not great, but not bad. I am refuting your comment that "a bunch of Koreans are running it.". This restaurant has been under the same ownership for 12+ years. There is a nice waitress who seems to be Asian-American, but that implies nothing. I am not affiliated with the... More

I always enjoy the awesome chicken tikka masala on the buffet on Fridays. The garlic naan is a favorite of mine too. Its recently remodeled and that has improved the atmosphere greatly. I recommend trying.

The lunch buffet from 11-4 allows you to sample a variety of dishes without the commitment. The food is very good.
