The prices are a little high but you get what you pay for, the food is very good. Its a nice casual place to go on date night. The dining area is kind of small so you can hear the surrounding tables pretty easily, so I normally try to order takeout.

My sister-in-law and I have been on a bender trying out exciting restaurants that don't serve up the usual Americanized fair in Spokane and this was our first stop. We both loved the experience! The place is quaint, clean, has a nice vibe and is well run. The staff was friendly and knew the menu very well and offered up... More

We had the kung pao chicken and the orange beef. Both seemed to be in the same sauce with a minor variation. The flavors were somewhat odd. Portions were generous. Maybe other choices would be better.

Another great hole in the wall and it's more than what we expected. Definitely be coming back and this will be our new "Chinese restaurant" fave. It was also a plus that our waitress knew the menu quite well and even suggested a few dishes just so we can get a variety to try. I'm impressed :)

After trying many places, we have finally found one that is a cut above. A small, welcoming restaurant with friendly, knowledgeable staff. This is not your ordinary, off the rack, fast food establishment. This is for individuals who will enjoy what they offer, as there are no substitutions but that works out quite well. The chef really understands the cuisine... More

Nice evening, impressive food, even if not quite as Asian as expected (but look at the name...). Friends recommended it, but also had the key landmarks: behind the strip mall across from Manito Tap House and behind The Chalet. Worth the adventure in the search.

I read the reviews. Figured we has to try it. It is a small hole in the wall that was not easy to find. Very warm inside. Went in at 320pm. We were the only ones in there. Nobody is Chinese. There is no resemblance that you are even in a Chinese restaurant except the wooden chopsticks sitting on bowls... More

Recommended by a friend, this restaurant was not one we would have seen from the road and gone in to eat. It is in a storefront in a small mall. We were there at 2 in the afternoon, and there was no one else in the small, plain dining room. The waitress was able to help us work through the... More

"Asian fusion" food with very interesting favors and creative food combinations. Dined there many times, including with children. Always delicious. Service is great. It's small, so sometimes a wait, but you get to inhale the great aromas! Easy for takeout too.

I have lived in South America. Every time I come through Spokane to visit family we always go to Gordys. The food is always fantastic. Simple, comfortable environment with nice people. It's a place you feel good in. When you leave you feel satisfied in every sense of the dining experience. Can't say enough about it. It's always busy and... More
