Subdued Dining plus Great Food..

We had to park and sneak up on the place that wasn't apparent to us as first timers, until seeing their menu in the window. Its laid out in what appears to be three attached store fronts with one of them hosting a bar. We sat in the middle of the three areas in subdued lighting and an area that... read more

We always visit Mizuna when we're in Spokane. It's one of the rare restaurants in that part of the country that really caters to vegetarians. They have a separate menu, and it has as many choices as on the regular menu, which is not surprising since it started out as vegetarian only. The food is inventive and very good. The... More

I love the atmosphere of this place, the raw brick and the urban feel. The food is good - not amazing, but good. But the bill was a disappointing shock. I can't figure out why it's so expensive. Are they using gold dust in the drinks or something?

This is a wonderful place for innovative food and great wine. The chef always has interesting combinations and I love pairing the plates with wine.

I have been a fan of Mizuna since it opened as an all vegetarian gourmet restaurant many years ago. Unfortunately, in order to survive in Spokane, they apparently had to add meat and seafood to the menu, but thankfully, it is locally sourced, as are most of their other ingredients. Eating at Mizuna is always a pleasurable and unusual experience,... More

There were two couples in our group. We managed to get a last minute reservation. We were seated by the door. It was a little cool as the door was opening and closing frequently but we were warned of this when we made the booking. We had a variety of dishes to eat from both the regular and vegetarian menus.... More

What a cute place with a nice waitress and yum yum vegan options!! My man and I went after Christmas shopping and were quite pleased with everything!! He is a meatatarian and I am vegan; hence it suited us both. :) I had a quinoa appetizer that was tasty and a an even more delicious vegan tempeh stew!! Waitress was... More

Once again we chose this restaurant as the place to celebrate our wedding anniversary (#49). It didn't disappoint in any way, even though we changed menu items from 2013. We shared a cheddar salad @6.75;husband had the flat iron steak entree@$29;I had the brie-stuffed portobello mushroom @ $21 ;and a sparkling segura cava $8.50. Every morsel is something to rave... If you like to eat healthy, and enjoy prompt service, this is the place. Food was excellent, and service was quick and friendly. Serving size is large for the price, and everything was fresh. Worth the downtown stop.
