The best place for seafood in Spokane.

After a bad day that was also our anniversary we decided to visit Milfords. We had driven by there hundreds of times without stopping. We were so overwhelmed by the quality of service and food. Service was slow but we needed time to unwind. The butter fried oysters were great and my wife's... read more

When we arrived a guy greeted us and said reservations... not a hello or welcome. We waited about 15 minutes for our waitress to show up and she was quick to take the first order of drinks and then ran off to chat with the cook in the back which I could here over the wall with wierd mismatched items... We were pleasantly surprised in our visit and meal at Milford's Fish house. While the exterior of the building reminds one of a early 1900's Spokane bar, the interior has been lovingly restored and the ambience is on par with the best local restaurants, coupled with some of the freshest flavors that we have experienced. The two partners that own the... More

This must be the month for eating exquisite culinary delights. Our entire dining experience at Milford's Fish House was another "hit parade" for me and my mate. It is an elegantly remodeled interior of an old 1900s tavern named the "Pastime." They even have the old "PASTIME" sign hung above the front door which lends a sense of nostalgia to... More

We go to Milford's when we really want to treat ourselves. We especially love the halibut when it is in season. That's why we went there this weekend, and we were not disappointed. The halibut was over the top wonderful. The service was spot on. I love the cozy wood booths, white tablecloths and old world feel to this place... More

Great scallops that melt in your mouth! The mashed potatoes go heavenly with them! Call a head to see if on menu or if chef will add for you. If someone's special occasion. ...just call a head and they will write something on the menu regarding that person or event. The chef is very personable and will come out and... More

Four of us ate there and we all enjoyed our dinner. The food was attractive and plentiful. Salads good and owner was present. He gave us a tour of this historical building with loads of history.

I want to like this place so we gave it another try. The food is fairly good and the ambiance is awesome but there is something about it I just don't like. Probably the service. Both times we went into this place we had reservations. Both times we were forced to wait about 15 minutes before being seated. Then the... More

The mushroom caps stuffed with crab were served piping hot and they were delicious. The bread is the best in town. The cod was very fresh and perfectly prepared. The vegetables and potatoes were a great accompaniment. My salad was crisp and the dressing was awesome. In short a perfect meal. Service was excellent. Best seafood in Spokane.
