After dropping off our third of six kiddos to college, we lucked into this inviting, delicious and historical restaurant. (We were driving by to catch a glimpse of Spokane Falls, saw Milford's and remembered a friend had highly recommended it.) With no reservation, we experienced one of the most memorable greetings I can recall. The chef/owner (Jerry?) made us feel... More

So I'll keep it short. Jerry the chef-owner, Wally the maitre'd, and Jessica our server were friendly and helpful. Adults all had perfect cedar plank salmon with super sides and gazpacho. Calamari and prawns were great preludes. Great local lore across all the walls (the loo included). Wally even pumped quarters in our parking meters. Great experience, thanks.

We were staying in the downtown Spokane area for a little vacation and walked to Milford's one evening. It was a charming restaurant and the staff was very friendly. We ordered an appetizer (Chicken Satay) and the owner/chef came out and asked us how we liked it. He chatted for a bit and then excused himself to go cook our... More

Milford's kitchen consistently presents creative seafood main courses & supporting dishes. The staff is welcoming & pleasant. The restaurant's ambiance is relaxing, with dark wood and ample space between tables & booths. We had watermelon gazpacho soup, fish tacos & coconut ice cream on this visit, which was an excellent value at $20 per person.

See my 2013 review of Palm Court, Davenport Hotel. The opposite great experience this year. Made same type of reservation and mentioned Wife's BD. Great service, very excellent appetizer, a great beet salad. Nice apple and olive salad. Salmon was nicely prepared and fresh. Mahi mahi was excellent and the bottle od Mt Dome sparkling was in the tradition of... More

Wonderful meal with a large group of people. You would have never known there were 20 of us at the table as the service was spot on and the food nice and hot. Servers were fast but quiet and the plates came out in a fashion that people were not waiting for everyone to have theirs, I had the Mahi... More
