I'v actually been here several times now and haven't had a bad meal yet. Great salads from the case, fantastic brunch, tasty desserts, great drinks! Great atmosphere and all of the servers are super friendly. Oh and it's all vegan/mostly gluten free!

This is definitely a locals place. They serve organic/health food, bakery items and coffee. There is a bar also. So a coffee shop plus lounge! It' kind of a hole in the wall decor, old bathroom medicine cabinets on the wall, mismatched furniture. There are a few tables outside on the side walk. Boots is located a couple blocks from... More

Actually, the food is great no matter what your diet restrictions are, but the fact that it is gluten free and vegan are a Godsend for celiacs and others with restrictions. They have a variety of foods each day, and their pumpkin waffles are deservedly one of the more famous dishes. The waffle makers never touch gluten, so we felt... More

Excellent vegetarian & vegan food. Very fast as we only ordered from the deli-style selections & had a few things heated up. We both ordered a "pick 3" and were a bit hungry after, so we took another for the road… but we are big eaters! The first worker who took our order wasn't exactly rude, but wasn't helpful or... More

My daughter has many food allergies, so it can be difficult to eat out while we are on the road especially if you want good tasting food. It is not easy to find vegan & gluten free, and when we do it is usually limited. I needed some coffee & my daughter found Boots on Tripadvisor so we decided to... More

Friendly knowledgable staff and holy cow the waffles are amazing. It's a vegan/gluten free bakery but you would never know if from the quality of the product. One of my favorite places in town.

What's not to love? Great food and great for people looking for gluten free etc. Fun coffee spot, location around antique shops & Magic Lantern Theater. Don't take your meat and potato boyfriend there; he won't understand. Save it for your artsy friends.

We had lattes, regular for me and soy for my wife, both of which were good. Even better for my wife, they had vegan baked goods which were delicious. With food allergies its not always to find good pastries, worth the stop.

We were traveling from Minnesota, and need GF, we were steered towards Boots for Pumpkin Waffles. The place was easy to find, and Sunday parking was free out front. The Waffles were big, and the whipped cinnamon butter was to die for. The organic coffee was bottomless. Was a bit pricey, 17 bucks for 2 waffles, coffee, and an oat... More

I visited Boots on a work trip in December 2013, based on other online reviews. It was a very pleasant surprise when I walked in and saw all of the delicious options! There was a plethora to choose from; as you can see from my photos, I had a the pasta with broccoli (which was quite spicy) and my co-worker... More
