So here is my FIRST EVER one star review for the worse dining experience we have had since moving to Spokane 6 months ago. We stopped in for our first and last visit for a weekday lunch. There were only a few other patrons and we were seated quickly and courteously in ridiculously uncomfortable chairs. Well, that's okay, it's only... More

As a born and bred Southerner, I would not call this Southern. I am from a family of restauranteurs and nothing seemed Southern that I ate. The shrimp and grits were a California interpretation, also a little over the top on spices. The brisket sandwich was a thick, slightly tough, and tasted leftover. The sandwich was supposed to come with... More

Busy at Casper Fry, which was the result of a city-wide restaurant weekend. Should have had reservations. Food was good, not to-die-for, but will go back soon and sample again on a more sane evening. Service at the bar was surprisingly slow, but given the crowd it was acceptable. Great value for the price, but if you want a lot... More

love the cornbread !!! otherwise I don't remember much which usually means something our outdoor seating was right next to parking lot where a driver sat in her car and kept her air conditioning noisily and with positive whiff test entire meal

Having dined at Casper Fry at least a dozen times, my expectations were high. No disappointment with "low country shrimp and grits". Service is professional and very accommodating, wine list short, but with good selections, and menu seasonal with locally grown high quality meats and vegetables. Food preparation flawless. Atmosphere is urban warehouse loft for lack of a better description.... More

We came here on a whim because it is very close to the house and we wanted something new without having to go far out of our way. It usually looks quite busy but we came early and were able to get a seat right away. Service was a bit slow especially considering how empty the place was, but it... More

The salads were great--wholesome and covered with tasty seeds. A bit on the high-end side; some tables are small, especially for 3 of us. The food, though, is very good.

Casper Fry is a little out of my way, but I really enjoy getting there. The menu is uniquely southern inspired (I've been to Bellingham once so not a Southern cuisine aficionado) fused to appeal to the Inland Northwestern. The wine selection is a little skimpy, but you do not have to have a hundred selections to find a great... More

I was visiting Spokane friends of mine, and we all decided to try Casper Fry for the first time (lunch). The ambience is fantastic: even though it was a nice afternoon, we chose to sit inside nearer to the bar so as to better experience the vibe. I’d categorize the décor as fixed-up old-world … upgraded saloon feeling with a... More
