I've been to France. I've been to Montreal. The croissants at le petit chat are some of the best in the world. Try the turkey cranberry swiss.

Great Food, Great Service and somehow the sum of all the parts of this bakery is exceeded by the whole of being there. There's a warmth, comfort, and generosity of space that, even on the busiest of days has us lingering over delicious baked goods, refilling our coffees and enjoying the day, before stopping by the counter on the way... Okay, that's faint praise, but this place really is first-rate. Outstanding croissants and breads. Nice, roomy yet intimate place to relax and munch, near Whitworth U. The Danishes are meals unto themselves.

And good coffee too. It isn't a big space but it's well managed so it feels cozy and inviting and smells wonderful. You can't make a bad choice in the baked goods. It's not a total restaurant but for baked goods and small things, it's the best.

If you are into baked goods, as I am, don't miss this fabulous, yet strangely located, baked, sweet, gooey goodness! Friendly staff and a nice interior space in this, I guess you could call it, strip center location. Fresh air on the "patio" in front, but cars parking in your lap are a nuisance. All good in this hood!

We had cinnamon rolls and an apple topped delight. Hard to make a decision on what to have, it all looked good. A great find. It was definitely worth the drive from downtown Spokane! They even serve sandwiches for lunch, we were tempted to go back just for the bread!

The smells, the flavors! Four hearty delights, and three cups of coffee for $20.00. Warm and welcoming setting with bakery delights popping from the ovens one after another. :-) we took two challah breads to go with honey butter

We stopped in to buy a loaf of rye bread, which turned out to be one of the top 2 Rye breads I've ever had (my wife votes #1). We were greeted warmly by every employee who crossed our path, and treated to 2 free chocolate croissants by the owner. I would love to move this bakery back to Kansas... More

Behind a gas station at corner of Waikiki & Whitworth not far from Whitworth University is a small strip-mall building that contains a french-style cafe and bakery you don't want to miss. We had lunch there and know we will be back. One side is a bakery with loads of lovely fresh loaves for sale. The other side is a... More
