My friend and I had a very leisurely and quiet lunch that was quite different than the normal soup and sandwich lunch cuisine. We made reservations and glad we did as there was a waiting line. We left quite full and it was a nice way to start our Christmas shopping down town.

We made reservations for the happy hour special, as we weren't overly hungry. The cheese fondue was interesting with the server making the fondue right at our table. I was expecting a more flavourful cheese fondue with all the ingredients he added, but it just tasted cheesy. We were given a variety of veggies in a small bowl, and a... More

Great place if you are looking for a quiet leisurely dinner. Be prepared to relax and not be in a hurry. If you are looking for something different from the norm and want to enjoy the people you are with, this fits the bill. The food is secondary as you have to cook it yourself. In a fondue pot.

This place is hard to find, it is on the second floor, and the entrance is down the street. However once you are there you will enjoy yourself. The food is tasty and it is fun to "cook" your own food. I will return again ~

On Saturday night we went for a dessert fondue after the movies. We noticed on the website that they did a special in the bar with desserts and drinks so we thought we would give it a try. We arrived at 9:30pm (they close at 11) and was told the bar was being cleaned up, so "no" special for us.... More

I love the Melting Pot and have been to a few locations before. This visit was a bit of the exception to the usually great service. This particular location is quite hard to find. You can see it from the outside, but there are no signs to the entry. They should definitely work on this. We visited on a Tuesday... More

We have visited the Melting Pot on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Our favorites are the cheese fondue and the desert chocolate fondue - for the average appetite, those two will be more than sufficient for dinner. The wine selection is quite good, and if you arrive early, you can get a special consisting of a fondue plus... More

The worst decision I have made to date: wearing skinny jeans to The Melting Pot! I could honestly not get enough of all the delicious food. Having the freedom to cook the meat as much or as little as I wanted was so nice. It is certainly pricey but it was also really high quality food...you get exactly what you... More

A little on the spendy side, $25 for 2 people to have dessert, but it was very good and our service was very attentive.

We had heard good things from others, so my wife and I decided to give it a shot for dessert one night. A ton of fun, delicious, and totally something different and out of the ordinary. Kind of pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
