Description: In July of 2010, Chef Anna Vogel and Operations Manager Bethe Bowman...
In July of 2010, Chef Anna Vogel and Operations Manager Bethe Bowman opened Italia Trattoria, a lively, regionally inspired Italian restaurant in historic Browne’s Addition just west of downtown Spokane. Chef Anna’s commitment to cooking seasonally with the finest local produce and artisan products available from Italy and the Pacific Northwest has differentiated Italia Trattoria from any other restaurant in Spokane. The menu has an eclectic mix of house made pastas, meats and fresh fish, salads and soups, and breakfast dishes on weekends. Our menu changes seasonally while offering some of our house favorite dishes year around. The menu is complimented by a well-received wine list with a primary focus on Italian producers and some local Northwest wines. We offer a full service bar with hand crafted martinis, barrel aged cocktails, fresh squeezed juices, and the best espresso in town. Whether you are in the mood for our grilled rack of wild boar with sweet potato gnocchi, a house made squid ink fettuccine with spicy wild shrimp, our charred octopus salad, the best meatballs in town, or our city wide famous zeppole doughnuts or tiramisu, come dine with us.

Great quaint, neighborhood Italian place... great food and service

Enjoyed our dinner with another couple. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were great. All enjoyed their meals. 2 had pan seared halibut. We all left happy. We will return. Good service as well.

The food is always great at Italia Trattoria, as is the service. The owners are both there everyday, and they get the details right. The food is not run of the mill American Italian food - chef Anna is from Europe, and has a more authentic interpretation of the cuisine. They also do a great brunch on the weekends. It's... More

We ate here last summer on our road trip through the U.S. I say experience because from the moment we sat down we felt like locals. We had an amazing server, tried some fantastic bruschetta, had some rabbit ravioli and spaghetti and meat balls (food dreams are made of), then shared tiramisu for dessert (I was trying to sneak extra... Our meal was really nice here. Really good food, good wine, good service and great company. The appetizers were fantastic. We will be going back for sure.

We'd been wanting to come here for some time, my wife's birthday was the perfect excuse. The food is amazing! We had grilled calamari salad to start, the last one of the night. I feel sorry for those that missed out it was that good! I had the Squid Ink Tagliatelle and my wife had the Pappardelle Lamb Ragu, both... More

We have eaten here many times over the past several years and have never been disappointed. Top notch food and a dedicated team of professional servers make dining at this modest establishment an all-round pleasure. Some of our favorites are lamb ragout with pappardelle, spaghetti and meatballs, and whatever fresh fish is offered. And we love going on Wednesdays when... More

I. Trat., as we know it, has established itself as a superb and stable restaurant in the Brown's Addition under the leadership of Beth (front of house) and Anna (chef de cuisine). They have fused their experience of working with Tom Douglas in Seattle with their love of fine food and fresh ingredients. Consistently, it has great service, and the... More

We tried the restaurant and made the mistake of doing it on the Saturday night of restaurant week. This means it was packed the entire time and our server was less than attentive. We weren't seeking a deal so much so the restaurant week menu didn't offer much of interest. This is overall a cute little bistro in the Brown's... More
