Description: In July of 2010, Chef Anna Vogel and Operations Manager Bethe Bowman opened Italia Trattoria, a lively, regionally inspired Italian restaurant in historic Browne’s Addition just west of downtown Spokane. Chef Anna’s commitment to cooking seasonally with the finest local produce and artisan products available from Italy and the Pacific Northwest has differentiated Italia Trattoria from any other restaurant in Spokane. The menu has an eclectic mix of house made pastas, meats and fresh fish, salads and soups, and breakfast dishes on weekends. Our menu changes seasonally while offering some of our house favorite dishes year around. The menu is complimented by a well-received wine list with a primary focus on Italian producers and some local Northwest wines. We offer a full service bar with hand crafted martinis, barrel aged cocktails, fresh squeezed juices, and the best espresso in town. Whether you are in the mood for our grilled rack of wild boar with sweet potato gnocchi, a house made squid ink fettuccine with spicy wild shrimp, our charred octopus salad, the best meatballs in town, or our city wide famous zeppole doughnuts or tiramisu, come dine with us.

I checked tripadvisor first and learned this small restaurant is rated #2 so decided to try it. It is a very small locale but the service is very attentive and helpful, Althought the menu can be different from one day to another there are some staples items like the Pappardelle with Lamb ragu or the carpaccio. I ordered the Pappardelle... More

This place was recommended by restaurant owner from our home town. Said since we like italian we would like this establishment. Well he wasn't wrong. The place is small and not fancy, but the food and the ambience was great. I had the wild boar and my wife had the chestnut gnocchi. Both were excellent. We told the owner we... More

I live in Spokane and look for opportunities to get a chance to eat here. Fantastic food…especially the seafood! I had sole my first time there and it was amazing. My husband and I also went here the morning after our wedding for breakfast and had the french toast…it was fluffy and decadent…I still dream of it : ) Great... More

A friend and I shared a calamari appetizer, the winter salad and the lamb pappardelle, as well as dessert. Every bite was simply divine and we will be back soon to try their brunch. Nice ambience and great service; altogether an excellent, enjoyable meal.

We only went to this restaurant based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. WOW ! ! Beth and Anna have a GEM in this restaurant. Everything was fabulous. They change the menu often and there is clearly a European influence. The pizza crust was one of the best I have ever had. The Beef Carpaccio was exquisite!!!! One of coolest... More

This restaurant keeps challenging my palette with new and different ingredients and combinations, and my palette does nothing but giggle in delight. OK, not always do they challenge my palette. I return often just for the Florentine Eggs Benedict, and once in a while have to treat myself to the Pappardelle Ragu, no matter how tempting the choice is that... More

Having just returned from a fabulous trip to Italy, we were hesitant to dine at an Italian restaurant, especially in Spokane! We were lucky to get a table, as it was Gonzaga University's parents weekend. The place was full of families, yet cozy enough for couples or wine enthusiasts. The sauces that accompanied the Pork Ragu and Gorgonzola Flap Steak... More
