W ate b-fast on a Wed morning -I got a veggie omelet & husband got French toast both were cold. The wasn't a cup of coffee it was espresso only so we were disappointed. The service was very lean maybe that is for the cold food.

My daughter and I were looking for a local eatery in downtown Spokane on a rainy day and found Madeleine's. It's a wonderfully open but cozy spot where you order at the counter. The Reuben sandwich I had was delicious; my daughter's salads were generous. The food was fresh and from local sources. It was the perfect lunch for our... More

A tasty stop, filled with lots of locals grabbing a downtown breakfast. Service was very friendly and prompt. I love crepes, and these did not disappoint. The flavor of the day-- strawberry and rhubarb. The filling was creamy and tangy. Served with a side roasted garlic homestyle potatoes, which were crispy on the outside and perfectly delicious. Cocoa is very... More

We were fortunate to stumble upon this restaurant during our morning walk. The food was fresh and delicious. It was a beautiful day so we sat in the outdoor patio area - what a treat. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

The bistro concept like Lindeman's is a stand in line and order type deal. Setting is chic and fun. Music on weekends frequently. The food sitting behind a counter is chilled and then reheated. Not my favorite. The coffee is fabulous and some of the French pastries are really good like napoleon. Great location and I think it makes a... More

This was a great find on our visit. Felt like we were in a cafe in France! They make their own chocolate sauce that we experienced in a cardamom mocha and a cigle......I had never had either before and they were both supreme! My daughter had the hot chocolate and loved it as wel!

Saw the sign patisserie and figured the pastries would be good. Was not disappointing. Friendly service, great coffee, sublime pastry.

The pastries are fresh and special. The cinnamon rolls are to die for - soft dough and gobs of frosting. The staff is friendly and the ambience is cozy and bright.

This was my first visit and we had planned to attend for dinner so I was a little confused when we came in and saw food in the display case (take out style). There wasn't any indication on whether we should order at the counter or wait to be seated or ??? A little signage would've helped us feel less... More

Each time I have gone to Madeleine's there has been a creative menu selection featuring breakfast choices that range from brioche/croissant to pigs in a blanket. The bakery is to-die-for and the coffee is both delicious and beautifully presented.
