This little corner restaurant in downtown Spokane offers a large variety of healthy fresh gourmet salads as well as sandwiches and Panini's. I ordered the tomato basil soup with quinoa, and the wheat berry salad, and curried chicken salad. They were so tasty. I also had one of their large freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. It was excellent. They get... More

My husband and I love stopping in here for a cold beer and some delicious food! We went for our first time in February when we chose to make this the location for our rehearsal dinner. The server was amazing and everyone enjoyed the food!

Service, food, location, ambiance. Salmon with black rice and a sauce to die for. Bread to start is hard not to over eat, so good. Very romantic spot. Small space and feels warm and intimate. Servers are knowledgeable and seem to like their jobs. Nice art and tablescapes.

Their Roasted Red Pepper Gouda soup is heavenly. The variety of salads is wonderful and you can also find delicious comfort foods like shepards pie and macaroni and cheese. In the morning you can stop in for a freshly baked chocolate croissant. I have never been disappointed with their food and the service has always been good.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was very impressed. Good selection of soups and salads, (I had a Waldorf salad, curried chicken salad and the roast red pepper soup, all excellent). Counter staff very friendly and helpful. Will definiatly go again.

Loved the different options for lunch. Had three different salads and a bowl of their chili. The chili was really good. I've wanted to go back but just haven't had the chance to. They are super busy at lunch time so it makes it difficult with the limited space inside.

I brought some of some corporate friends in for lunch yesterday and it was a train wreck. Long wait for our lunch meal, 3 times they mixed up our orders... so we finally just ate what they served us and was highly disappointed..... Maybe bad day??? but won't be back....

I was very impressed with the food and the service at Taste in Spokane, Washington. Further, even though the restaurant space was a bit tight, it was not overly noisy - I had no trouble carrying on a conversation with my dinner companions. Worth making an effort and a reservation.
