Tasty selections

We were seated in about ten minutes and had a friendly, albeit, new waitress. But she tried very hard to help us and had a sweet nature. We had the onion soup and a salad and both were good. My husband enjoyed his blackened salmon and I had a pasta. The shared dessert was quite nice. Not... read more

Traveling through Spokane gave us an opportunity to golf and then have dinner with our son. Since we rarely get to see him, we wanted someplace special to dine. The Rusty Moose filled the bill to perfection. The service was prompt, friendly, and constant. The food was good and it was reasonably priced. Last but not least the facility was... More

The atmosphere was nice. The server was sweet. The food was terrible. I had a the worst cut of prepackaged, unseasoned Omaha, "New York steak" ever.it was as flat as a pancake and as tough as shoe leather. I think the moose was cooking tonight, and yes he is rusty.

The feedback is much appreciated. We sincerely apologize that you were disappointed with your New York Strip. We purchase all of our steak fresh and from local ranches. We hand cut each strip daily. Unfortunately, when a steak is ordered at well-done, the meat becomes compromised; the juices dry out which causes the meat to become tough. Therefore, we recommend... More

Poor service and over priced food. I noticed more attentive servers doing their job in fact one took up the slack for mine on two occasions. I paid $15 for a dried out French dip that was more bread than meat. Supposedly it was prime rib. The au jus tastes like a salty package mix rather than actual meat juice.... More

Thank you so much for the insightful feedback. We sincerely apologize we could not meet your dining expectations. Had you brought any concerns up to management that day, we would have gladly taken care of your meal. We pride ourselves with the quality of product that we serve our guests and therefore do not use pre-packaged food. If you wish,... More

We went to the Rusty Moose for dinner on the recommendation of a friend who had eaten lunch there recently. The food was tasty and generous. The service was good. The decibels were awful. They had the speakers for their so called music - mostly LOUD noise way too loud for comfort or conversation with my wife.

We went to this restaurant for lunch when we were staying at the Hilton next door. My daughter loved the kids ribs meal. My son didn't like his kids mac n' cheese (my husband tried it and said it had no cheese taste at all). They took it back and brought him a grilled cheese instead, which he liked. My... More

Restaurant was next to my hotel and so decided to give it a try. The ambiance was very nice as was the staff. The menu was okay. I choose French Onion Soup and a Signature Burger. The soup was just okay, the cheese wasn't melted on top all the way. The Burger was just okay as well. Nothing really great,... More

Used to work for a chain of restaurants called Rusty Pelican. They owned the Ancient Moose and the Rusty Duck which were side by side in Sacramento. This is cut from the same cloth. Those stores are gone, but we had good food and service in a fun environment. Enjoy!

Located close to the airport and Northern Quest casino. The service is good, the prices reasonable and the food is awesome. My wife and I have been several times and will continue to go whenever we are near by. I had the Prime Rib beef stroganoff and my wife had the Thai flatbread pizza. Both were great and the stroganoff... More

it was a trip to the past with hunting items, traps, snowshoes, trophy heads mounted on the walls. Staff was extremely polite and nice.
